I had a great experience staying in one of these rented rooms. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The room had all the essentials—bed,AC and good lighting. The attached bathroom was modern and well-maintained. The environment was peaceful, and the building was secure and quiet, making it perfect for both working professionals and students. Common areas like the kitchen and living space were always tidy, and the landlord/owner was friendly, responsive, and very respectful of privacy. The location is also a big plus—close to shops, transport, and everything you need within walking distance. It’s honestly one of the best rental experiences I’ve had. If you’re looking for a hassle-free and cozy place to stay, I’d definitely recommend these rooms!

Our host Malitha was so helpful, he stayed in communication with us whilst our flight was diverted and we ended up in Sri Lanka later than expected, he gave us so many tips and recommendations for Sri Lanka and showed us on the map good places to go for our back packing trip. He gave us great advice about transportation as well and helped with our PickMe driver when they couldn’t find the hostel. Malitha made our stay exceptional! Location was good, short walk to some restaurants and cafes, also a shopping centre in front of the hostel. The room was basic but clean and slept all night with ear plugs, also air con which is lovely! Thank you for all your help Malitha :)

Wonderful hostel in the very centre of Colombo , it was clean and I stayed there for 1 night in which they did the laundry for me for free , that was wonderful as it costs over 10$ to do laundry elsewhere

The facilities are distributed over 3 floors so the rooms are in the middle floor , laundry downstairs and a kitchenette is upstairs so you will frequently use the stairs throughout the day

The area where this hostel is located just perfect, it's close to everywhere interesting. The bed was very comfortable and there where plenty of showers and toilets, so you don't have to fight for it in the morning :D Outstanding was the staff of this hostel. Kind and helpful with a lot of tips, they made made our stay in this hostel more special than we would've expected.

Just one small thing: hooks on the wall in the room would be nice to hang the towels to dry them, that's all. :)

While my first impression wasn't great, I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable, and there were plenty of bathrooms. There was also a nice little hangout/working space upstairs I didn't use, but I would definitely stay longer here.

There was no one to check me in when I arrived which made me worried I would have to sleep on the couch in the hall.

The property was clean, easy to find and well equipped. We chatted with other local guests, got great advices for our trip and felt throughout comfortable. After visiting Sri Lanka we came a second time to this Hostel before departure and it was lovely meeting everybody again! Also great A/C.

Location was good, near transport links, shops and restaurants. The room was large enough and bed comfortable with opening window. There was a nice common area with fridge freezer and cooking facilities. WiFi was excellent. The staff were fantastic, really helpful and gave good local restaurant advice. Would definitely stay here again.

Host was informative and helpful. Across from the shopping mall and food court: Basic room, aircon worked, shared toilets & showers were always available.

Most budget places in Colombo don’t have windows. They have a small common room and kitchen upstairs if you need fresh air. My room smelled abit mouldy.

We started our Sri Lanka journey here, because it was so nice we ended our journey here too. The rooms are clean, the showers and toilet are clean. Everything you need. It’s not a 5 Star hotel but Malitha gives 5 Star hospitality!! So friendly and so helpful, this place will always be our Colombo accommodation!

Great value for money! Clean, a short walk to the beach and they even kept our big backpacks, so we could go travel to the centre of Sri Lanka.

A bit noisy at night but it didn’t last long. You have to expect these things if you’re close to amenities.
