The Castle is situated close to Vernon which I liked as you're only 10 minutes from there but out of the fray. It is immediately above the highway so I was very happy to be in a room not overlooking that as I'm definitely not used to traffic noise. My room was excellent with everything I needed and having the pool and hot tub there was a treat. There is a great store virtually right across the highway for all your grocery needs, a selection of take out meals, gifts, garden ware and plants as well. Super handy as I arrived after a long drive and at 5:30 did not want to go much further so went over there to get something for dinner. Landed up going back the next day as well to have a really proper look round and got some delicious fresh cherries and raspberries amongst other gift items. Had dinner at the Intermezzo Restaurant one night and thoroughly enjoyed the prawn, red pepper, asparagus and spinach in a light saffron sauce on linguine. I would highly recommend a stay here and will definitively be back. Thanks to all the staff.

It's a bit tricky to figure out the lobby access but as I hadn't looked at the map when doing so, that's totally my fault so in the big picture, there isn't anything I didn't like.

Full size kitchen had the necessary items for our drink prep and keeping our food cold in fridge. Ice was obtained from a fridge downstairs. Room was large, with beds, bath, kitchen with table, and living area with couch and chairs. Lake view from balcony and a nice place to sit. Parking spaces were narrow. Rear parking was up a very steep grade. I think there was a separate parking area for large vehicles.

Rooms were not soundproof. On first floor, which was up one level from ground floor, we heard noises from above late into the night.

This is really amazing place to stay at if you are looking for something in the area. It was exceptionally clean and it is done with the taste. It is also very well taken care of. Staff are really nice.

Everyone keep in mind that pool is “seasonal”, and it is not open as of April 18 when we were there. We were disappointed with that because it was one of the main reasons why we booked. Their welcome guide that they email you also did not say that the pool is not open. Only hot tub was working.

Location was excellent. Everything was most enjoyable ,plenty of room. Kitchen just like home. The manager and receptionist are true professionals and you can tell they enjoy their work and serving the people.

The suite was well appointed- kitchen dishwasher, Kettle,full sized fridge& stove. One could easily live there. Nice big balcony. Stocked with very clean quality items in both kitchen & bathroom linens etc. Only downside was being on the lower front end level- too far from the pool & although the lake view was appreciated, the highway traffic noise kind of ruined it.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was updated and modern. Had everything you would need to cook a good meal. There are bbq’s out by the pool for guest use which is nice. The restaurant there is a great little place. Definitely a more expensive and fancier option but that was what we were looking for. The food was amazing and has gf options. The staff were great. Would stay there again. 10/10

The pool hours are 9-9. Would be nice if they extended it from 8am-10pm. That being said, the staff member came around at 9 and said she would be back at 9:30 to close the pool so we got a little extra time.

The suite was spacious and bright. It was like having your own apartment. The Kitchen had a stove, a good size refrigerator and a dishwasher. Although the location is just a bit our of Vernon it takes only 10 minutes to get to all you need.

Parking is tight as this hotel is on a hillside. Some rooms might be difficult for people with mobility issues. Also it can be hard to reenter the highway so we took the Pleasant Valley rd back to town.

The rooms are more like condos, with a full kitchen, living room, bedroom, and well appointed washroom. Front desk informed me that they were originally meant to be condos, in fact. Very comfy. Pool was small but clean and nice. Lots of shade around it. Entire courtyard was pleasant. Being right next door to the water park made going there super easy (walking distance). Despite that, you wouldn't realize you were next to a water park at all; very quiet and peaceful.

Having a breakfast available is always a plus, but not a deal breaker given we all have our own full kitchens. Having a fitness centre would be a good thing, as some of us actually use them.

Love the space in the suites, location is great, we walked up to the water park. Loved having coffee on the balcony each morning. It was great. Also the restaurant on site was awesome!

Since we were in the lower unit we just heard banging above us all day. Kids running around above us and even when they ran on the walkways above us, it was loud in our unit and very annoying.
