No breakfast was available and the room was too small to prepare any food. However the location was fantastic and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hot spa right outside the front with a view of the village street was fun if you like to see whats happening and whos passing by. Not good if you value privacy. We would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast would have been nice and a guest lounge and games room with cooking facilities would make this a perfect place to stay.

We really like the rooms with kitchen (in the basement), so we can fix a nice breakfast in our room.

Would be nice if housekeeping brought us new towels and refilled the soap containers mid-week. No problem asking the front desk for these, but in the past, housekeeping would find the time to refresh our room once a week.

Really central to resort, slopes, lifts, bars and restaurants. Lift pass and ski hire within 50 metres. Very comfortable large bed, great shower and although decor a little dated it’s a minor issue. No breakfast in hotel but available within 3 minutes walk at a couple of cafes.

Loved the location and how it was close to everything. The check in was quick and easy and they let us check in early which was amazing as we had our 3 month old baby and needed a place to hang out with her. The hot tub was great and loved how it was outside overlooking the village. TV could have been bigger hit who’s watching a lot of TV at the hill?

It’s right on the hill. A huge room with a kitchen. 2 bathrooms, spacious enough to store bikes.

The kitchen needs more and better kitchen goods such as better frying pans, knives for cutting, medium sized pots and supply a sponge.

Front line staff extremely helpful and friendly. I did an early check-in and was able to leave my suitcase with the hotel after checkout while I waited for a late departure to the airport. Fabulous central location.

The property is a little dated, but the location and staff make this good value for the money.

Loved the funky style but mainly we enjoyed a large room, super comfy bed and very clean, modern bathroom.

As no breakfast is provided and this is a mountain resort village with only one local shop, options were very limited for breakfast. We really needed either breakfast or minimal crockery just to make our own from the shop. There is a coffee machine and fridge but nothing else (kettle, cutlery, crockery) so not even a bowl of cereal was possible. Also be aware the shop closes at 18.00 and after that there is nothing at all without a long drive back to Vernon.

The location was great, right in the centre of the village, ski in ski out. Less than 2 mins from the gondi. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfy. The decor was a little tacky but overall it contributed to the good vibe of the place. The parking was right next to the hotel. Staff were friendly. Also there was a hot tub!

I would've liked breakfast included (no breakfast option in the hotel). Plus the hotel restaurant was closed (Tues, Wed) when I was staying there so I wasn't able to use my discount which was a shame. Maybe a free sticker or a discount on the memorabilia could've been a nice way to make up for this!

No breakfast offered at the Bulldog inn

As an ex Firefighter, Fire Safety officer. The Fire door from the reception area in yo the corridor with the bedrooms should not be permanently wedged open as it was during our stay and looked like it was a permanent thing.

The staff are the best. Silver Star is an amazing place. The natural splendor and great trails are the best things about it, but the bulldog is a close second.

That we only stayed a week.
