Heated Pool was the Best part of our time at this location and landscaping around the pool area contributed to the holiday experience . Hotel provided lots of clean pool towels daily . Staff super friendly . Good parking . Air Conditioning in the rooms worked excellent . Bathroom Shower was huge with double shower heads and good supply of hot water . Definitely will come back for another holiday here .

Fridge needed defrosting which i did it myself after maintenance did not thus I couldn't use the fridge for two out of four nights . Only found one ice maker machine in the building and think during high summer season that Hilltop Inn could use two machines . No room safes but there isn't high crime in this area I don't think .

The pool was gorgeous, very nice hotel. The location was nice and quiet, it had a restaurant on site (limited hours) but still nice. The main hotel is clean, well maintained, and the staff were amazing and helpful. The rooms were great sizes and had all the things needed (towels, toiletries), coffee and fridge. I can't remember if it had a microwave but I'm sure it did.

The pool was freezing, the hot tubs were not hot and they were tiny and a little dirty. Also the amount of spiders in the door ways outside, and the walking corridors, and the upstairs hot tub. The room I stayed in the first night was lovely. The second room had some minor scuffs, sandy floors, and the fridge was in need of maintenance. I did notify staff of the repairs the room needed. They need more local drink choices in the restaurant.

It was clean and room was bigger than expected . Nice size fridge and good pull out coffee maker . Beds were comfortable . We loved the pool . When we stayed it was nice and quiet.

The breakfast was sadly lacking even although it was included . Paper plates and disposable cutlery. Cheapest bread and cereals . I’ve stayed in many hotels where breakfast was included and this was the worst. Eggs were swimming in butter or grease. I would have preferred to pay a bit for a better , healthier breakfast . There used to be a restaurant here at night ( table 24) and that would have been great . It is still on a website when you Google Salmon Arm restaurants. ( the hotel site clearly shows there is not one though )

Our room was quiet, as requested, located in the motel-type unit behind the main building, away from the highway. The room was a good size and well equipped. I liked the balcony that overlooked the pool area. It's a very nice pool, sandwiched between the two buildings and therefore away from Highway 1. We took the advice of a previous guest and walked into the downtown via the tunnel under the highway, where we had a great Japanese meal. I think the included breakfast was a cut above the norm - large breakfast room, and the food looked home cooked (not microwaved), even including a selection of fresh cut up fruit. (We did not have the breakfast because a coach tour had filled the room, so we breakfasted in town.)

The bathroom was a bit small, and there was no grab bar on the shower (no bath). But that is a minor complaint!

The continental breakfast had great options and the food was hot and delicious. The pool in the evening was fun for the family with a lot of seating, hot tub and fun coloured lights.

The beds were not very comfortable, especially the pull-out mattress. The blankets were thin and the towels were small and scratchy. The bathtub drain did not properly seal and so it leaked when trying to fill the tub. The highway noise is a lot without earplugs which were not provided. There was only one lamp between the two beds and the lighting filled the whole room, which was not convenient when sharing a room with small children. The walls in the bathroom were very dirty. The carpet was also very stained. For the price, I wish the experience was more comfortable and luxurious.

I liked the interior of the hotel and the breakfast was good, the room was nice and clean

I could not sleep because of the noise of the boiler pipes expanding and contraction in the ceiling

The man who checked us in was exceptionally pleasant and made sure we had all the info we needed. He was much more cordial than the day desk staff. Breakfast was lovely...a wide assortment of food and fruit and the hot foods were great. The 2 gals who did the breakfast were just so pleasant ...it was a pleasure going down for breakfast. I must also complement the booking skills at the Hilltop as we had 2 tours and a hockey weekend and the noise level was exceptionally low!!

My room not being at such a distance from the elevator. Being disabled has made me rely on a walker/wheelchair and had I known how far from the elevator we would be I would have used my wheelchair.

The room was very comfortable and very clean. A little dated in decor, but the level of cleanliness totally made up for it. The pool area is gorgeous and beautifully landscaped. There is one section suitable for swimming laps and the other end has a large area for casual swimming and soaking. Also a hot tub and a separate patio area with tables. One of the nicest outdoor pools I’ve ever seen. The free breakfast was also excellent with cereals and a selection of different hot items.

The hotel decor in the rooms could use a little updating. But the room was really clean, so I didn’t mind too much.

We stayed two separate nights during a trip to the coast. Salmon Arm was a convenient stopping point. The first time we stayed we were in a small room at the back of the property and it was just OK, functional and clean for a one-night stay. The second stay was on the return leg and in the hotel proper. We had a spacious, clean, newly renovated room with two queen beds, comfortable, but could have used additional lighting, particularly in the bathroom which had no nightlight whatsoever. Breakfast was good, we enjoyed staying in this room the second time. I even did yoga on the carpet because it was so clean!

Lighting, the room only had two lamps, one between the beds and one in the corner over a nice chair/ottoman. But there's a counter top, breakfast bar type thing that needed a light and the bathroom needs a night light for navigation.

Everything was pretty good. We had lots of space in our room, as booked. We were on the backside of the hotel overlooking the pool. You could open the window and listen to the tranquil sounds of the pool fountains. No highway traffic noise.

The guy at the front desk would not even check to see if our room was ready to check into. We arrived from our long journey only 1 hour before check in. Also, no washroom available until after check in as the only washroom available in the lobby area is in the restaurant, which is only open for breakfast and it was 3 pm
