Our hosts, Russell and Katrina, were very welcoming, friendly and giving. Our room was beautifully decorated, comfortable and very clean. Having a beautiful place to sit outdoors in the evening sun was very relaxing. We also took an evening stroll to the lake, only 200m away. Breakfast was devine - the german pancake with warm blueberries - delicious! and so much more to choose from. We were given great advice and we welcomed their local perspective on the best tourist experiences in the area.

Like staying at a resort! Eggs benny for breakfast! Excellent! Coffee also excellent. Room #2 was very comfortable: queen bed with our own bathroom. Lovely bedding and linens. Beautiful home, spotlessly clean, amazing outdoor decks and patios to enjoy and very friendly, gracious hosts. Katrina and Russell have thought of every detail and provide excellent service. Located in a quiet neighbourhood on the golf course, very close to the lake and Memorial Park. 👍

Absolutely nothing

This is a "not so typical B&B" in the best way of interpretation! Katrina & Russel are the most friendly & welcoming hosts we met on our round trips so far. The house is clean to the fullest, the patio & garden with fresh fruits (apples, pears & grapes) are amazing & the tips you get for sightseeing, restaurants etc. do never disapoint. And if that wasn't enough: the breakfast is a highlight every day + the coffe kitchen is fully equiped & accessable 24hrs without extra costs for any guest. Thank you so much!

If one wanted to find sth to complain about, it might be the train passing by a few hundret meters away - we slept like babys anyway as the beds are cozy as hell :)

Katrina and Russell were perfect hosts. They let us know in advance about the restaurants in the area as we were arriving around 5:00. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was incredible. The gardens were lovely. We really enjoyed the area and will recommend Sunny Shuswap to our friends.

We only stayed one night. Next time we will stay 2 nights to enjoy more time at the B&B and the surrounding area.

Awesome welcome from the host ! Very helpfull and friendly, they gave us a couple of very good suggestion for tourism. We really feel welcome and appreciate it. Room were large, clean and confortable. They even provide USB electrical plug. The breakfast was great and with large quantity. Calm and quiet area. The outdoor and balcony are great as well. Parking in the alley is handi ;)

When a train pass through the city, it blows his whistle 5 times and it may wake you up for each train which will kill your night. A better soundproofing of the house is needed. They provide earbud for free though, if you can support it. There is no electrical store or shutters so the bedroom can't go totally dark. A standard in North America but hard to sleep without the total dark for me, ignore that comment if you don't care or if you are used to.

We stayed with my wife at the B&B during our BC trip. Honestly, we have never seen such a clean hotel, ever. All looked like it was brand new, super clean, well organised. The rooms are good in size, nicely decorated, with a great bath room. My wife loved the new carpet, super comfy and high quality like the rest of the B&B. Check all the nice details if you stay here. There is a common spacey and nice living/kitchen area, as the B&B is not having too many rooms it won´t get busy there. We got the best breakfast we had during our 21 days trip in Canada, the owners are putting a lot of effort on the details and variety & choice of food! Amazing and indeed exceptional. We enjoyed to talk longer to the helpful and very friendly owners. The locations is very close, some 2 minutes from the highway, so its a quiet area, and you are back on the highway in

This is a really lovely find. It is a cosy guesthouse run by very welcoming hosts. We stayed in room number one and we had our own balcony which was lovely to use. The guest house has their own accommodation on one side and the guests have their own lounge and kitchen area as well as their own room on the other which is wonderful. There is a garden which you can use And it’s all very peaceful. I would highly recommend this B&B to stay out. The breakfast is absolutely wonderful and thank you very much Katrina for all your information and tips on cooking those lovely German pancakes. If we are ever visiting Shushwap again, we will most certainly be staying with you.

The room was very comfortable - the electric candle sets were a nice touch! The breakfast was amazing! Freshly baked German pancake/Dutch baby with all the fixings... and eggs, toast, sausages, yogurt cereal, coffee & juice! So spoiled! The B&B is also a short drive away from a picturesque dock

That we weren't able to stay longer!

This is my second time staying at the Sunny Shuswap B&B and I love it and everything that it offers. It feels like staying with family. Chase is a place that I grew up in as a teenager so I love returning and I look forward to staying here again.

Everything! Way nicer than any hotel! We had two rooms with a shared bathroom, homemade cookies such a lovely touch. Access to gorgeous garden spaces and indoor lounge area - we were sorry not to have more time here
