Lovely hotel. Helpful, friendly staff. The bedroom was huge and beautifully decorated with lovely furnishings, a wonderful mountain view and an enormous very comfortable bed. The facilities in the room were good with lots of charging/USB ports for electronic equipment.
Although there was a reasonable size gym, 2 of the machines were out of order (a treadmill and a bike), leaving only one of each available. For a hotel of this size, this wasn't really adequate. The shower gel and shampoo had not been replenished in our room, both bottles were empty We had to pay in advance for our buffet breakfast which we felt was unusual, unnecessary and relatively expensive at $35 each. Although there seemed to be plenty choice, due to the amount of time the food had been out on the hotplate, it was dry and hard. Our table had used cutlery on it and we had to ask for the coffee to be replenished. However, we fedback our concerns to the restaurant manager who gave us a full refund (which we hadn't asked for) but was an appreciated act of goodwill.

This is definitely one of the better ski hotels we have stayed at, hands down. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and the staff are extremely helpful. The hot tubs are a great addition, and the ski in/ski out location perfect especially if you aren't a huge ski fan and want to quickly come in for the day. The room itself is spacious and the bed was super comfortable.
The few things that were issues really werent in the hotels control. Like any hotel, the sound peoofing wasnt amazing when kids are staying above you running up and down at 6am. To be fair, it did quiet down when the hotel spoke to them. The wifi could also be temperamental but we were there over the busy period.

Ski in Ski Out, pet friendly. Ample sized rooms. Ski Valets. Food in the Morrissey restaurant was excellent generally other than the last night.
1.) Long waits at peak times for elevators. 2.) Motel 6 style shallow bathtubs in rooms (no soaker tubs in rooms) 3.) Underground access security key card swipe is on the passenger side of the car to enter - bad design. 4.) Damaged my mag wheels on sharp angled curb entering underground. you can blame it on my bad driving however at night its dark and never having been there before it creates an awkward angle the way the concrete curb has been layed. It may seem nitpicky, but I'm just sharing what I didn't like as this is the point of this section

Location. Amenities. Staff helpfulness
No proper lockers for all ski equipment including boot warmers. There’s a ski valet service but means you have to wear your ski boots through the hotel . In Europe its common to have lockers and ski self storage with heated boot storage - dries out any moisture and keeps the shell soft. Makes a big difference!

The bed was a super king so very comfortable, the room was warm and spacious and the bathroom was very clean. The foyer was beautiful, it still had all the Christmas trees up and log fires. There is an outdoor spa but the temperatures were too cold to use.

Excellent location for the ski in/ski out. Lots of restaurants and shopping options. Comfortable bedding. Friendly service. Affordable stay due to being end of season. Loved seeing all the dogs as the second floor is dog-friendly. Hot tubs were HOT and the sauna was amazing for our bodies after full days of riding.
Fridge could be colder

Room was very clean, large enough for two adults and two kids 8 and 10 years young. All amenities in room very good. Bed very comfortable. We asked for a room facing out the back toward the green grass and the 'bike lift'...didn't get it but as we asked for a room with balcony and paid more for it, we were very happy to get that despite facing the arrival court (with car noise etc.). Better than the first night on the way to Calgary. One more thing: our daughter left her INVISILIGNERS (teeth braces) in a black napkin at breakfast.......of course they were thrown away as they were not seen wrapped in the napkin. After I asked my daugher where they were, we realised that she forgot them at the table. I ran downstairs to tell the breakfast staff.....they (3 of them= left immediately to find them in the kitchen (rubbish bin). I offered to look/search for them but they insisted they do it.....and HOORAY, they returned them all in one piece and all cleaned up :) A MASSIVE THANK YOU , BRILLIANT JOB TO the 3 of you!! Well done.!!! They mentioned this is not the first time this happened , hihihihi, In any case, this meant the world to us. Again a very GRATEFULL AND MASSIVE THANK to the breakfast room staff!!!
we booked this hotel both times (on the way to Calgary and on the way back) with breakfast. We were charged for breakfast the first time (CAD 78.00 plus ) for 1 kid, 2 adults, 2nd kid half price?? or even free?? I made double sure on the way back that breakfast was included.....and despite the check in person CONFIRMING that breakfast was DEFINITELY included , we were still questioned about it.......NOT a good thing. Even the staff admitted, that staff/management get things mixed up..... this MUST definitely be adressed.

I booked this reservation with Booking.com. I specifically requested and searched for a Pet friendly room, however when I got there my reservation did not mention Pet friendly and it caused some confusion with the Hotel. I wish that when I request a Pet friendly room on your site that it also carries over to the hotel

Hotel is in the prime location for accessing the lifts at the heart of Sun Peaks resort, as well as the shops and restaurants in the village. Comfortable, spacious room that was nicely done-up. Has an outside pool (although not the biggest so did get crowded) and 3 hot tubs facing the mountain.
Cost of parking was extremely high ($33 per night on top of the room rate).

Really enjoyed this area. Very relaxing and beautiful. Restaurants were nice. Staff and facilities were very nice. This is a great place for a weekend away and lots of local places to visit. Would highly recommend!
Buffet for breakfast was not for me, a nice breakfast to order is always good.
