The location is perfect - walk-able to shops, pubs and restaurants. There was an included breakfast, toast, eggs, juice, coffee. Not too bad considering it was complimentary. The room had a nice view of the hills. It has the oldest elevator in Kamloops - 1928. The restaurant/bar downstairs is very cozy with friendly service.

The front desk staff, didn't read my early check-in sheet and asked the same questions on arrival, until I reminded them that it was filled out online. The rooms were clean, but could definitely use a carpet replacement.

It was right downtown beside a mini homeless emcampment in the parking lot. I was also charged $8 when I got there for the pleasure of parking in the middle of this camp. That parking lot happened to be full so I was sent a block away to park in another lot. Last thing I want to do after an 8 hour drive is find parking away from the hotel in the dark. In complete fairness, once I expressed my displeasure of having to go out hunting for parking, the nice lady at the front desk allowed me to park in one of the reserved spots. Also the $8 charge for parking isnt cool. That should definately be part of the cost of the room. Oh. And the showers. They really wernt all that hot.

We enjoyed the exercise of the flight of stairs we used to reach the fourth floor. Thank goodness our stay was for one day. I am not athletic, but it was a good workout. I hope the elevator will be fixed. Breakfast was sentional. We enjoyed eating by the window. We especially enjoyed a hot tub soak evening and morning, as we have shower stalls in our home. Thank you.

My partner liked the stairs. I have shattered and fractired back... taking the steps was okay the first day. But the next day made my body unsteady.

Excellent location in the middle of Kamloops. Parking, restaurants and breweries ;-) very close by. Very friendly and professional personnel.

I recently stayed at The Plaza Hotel in Kamloops, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making check-in smooth and easy. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with comfortable bedding. The hotel's location is perfect, close to local attractions and dining options. Loved the location and price for this beautiful classic historical heritage hotel. Loved the old world charm. Breakfast included was excellent with real eggs and bacon! Fantastic vintage elevator so cool!

First room we had on July 10 was great with king bed was excellent with nice sized bathroom. Second stay July 13 -14 in Queen room, bed was great but bathroom was very small and room smelled a bit musty/old probably due to being a heritage building. But did love the history of the building and talking with the elderly maintenance man who seemed to suit the place! Wished the original outdoor classic The Plaza sign would light up like in the old days! Would look so awesome!

A good budget heritage (1928) hotel in downtown Kamloops. Friendly, helpful staff. Great full breakfast. Lobby is nicely decorated for the holidays. I enjoyed the vintage lift !

I think the staff do all they can about providing parking. There are security cameras, etc. Parking was an extra $8.00, which is fair to those who don't bring a vehicle. I arrived early to get a parking space - there were two left. Maybe offer some instant oats for breakfast. That would really make it complete! The bar downstairs and liquor store attached might be convenient to some guests - not my thing, but it was fine.

Breakfast was good. Flavoured water & hot water to make tea was a treat! Staff were friendly. Room was clean. Dinner was tasty. Eating outside on the patio was splendid.

Coffee at breakfast wasn’t very good. There was also a large table in the middle of the room that we had to squeeze by -during the breakfast buffet - holding plates of food & hot water, annoying the people at the table too.

This is an historic hotel centrally located. It obviously has seen better days but also worse days. We had a king suite on the upper floors and it was lovely with a lot of space and all you would expect from a good hotel Yes, the elevator is small and slow, that’s what you get for staying in an historic hotel - at least it’s got an elevator. Easy near by parking

Breakfast is good, but served in a soulless dining room with dirty table clothes. It would be so much better if served in the associated bar.

Older style property in need of some renovations but it had a certain charm, especially the floorboards and tiny lift. May not be up to everyone’s standards and expectations but I didn’t mind it at all. Grateful I could use the laundry and dryer. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was tiny but clean and it was surprisingly quiet. Noise levels may differ on weekends of course. Parking worked out fine as long as you park in the designated space next to the bottle shop and register your car at reception.

Wifi/ internet issues just when I need to access various websites. Went to a cafe nearby which had a functioning wifi service. Check in can be a bit slow if other people are there before you.
