The history. It's an old hotel with the oldest working elevator. So that was cool. Parking was close, breakfast was amazing. Freshly cooked in the restaurant. Pizza place across the street has the best gluten-free crust I have ever tried at a reasonable price. Definitely recommend.

The location is close to supports for the homeless community and seems to be near where they gather, so, I decided to take everything out of my car and bring it inside, and not wonder off to far alone.....just to be on the safe side.

I had a wonderful stay at the Plaza Hotel! The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of fresh options every morning. The location is perfect—close to shops, restaurants, and major attractions. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job each day. Everyone at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I especially appreciated the quiet, comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers!

The location is perfect - walk-able to shops, pubs and restaurants. There was an included breakfast, toast, eggs, juice, coffee. Not too bad considering it was complimentary. The room had a nice view of the hills. It has the oldest elevator in Kamloops - 1928. The restaurant/bar downstairs is very cozy with friendly service.

The front desk staff, didn't read my early check-in sheet and asked the same questions on arrival, until I reminded them that it was filled out online. The rooms were clean, but could definitely use a carpet replacement.

The location of the hotel helped us to get out of the car and explore. Everything was so close! A morning walk on the river followed by a cup of coffee at a downtown cafe. Evening appetizers and cocktails at the hotel restaurant with fun trivia night. Our second night we attended a fun comedy show just a block away! Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. This is a historic property with a funky old elevator and stairs. The hotel staff was helpful and kind.

Friendly staff and a great little attached lounge. Rooms were clean. Bed was soft.

It was right downtown beside a mini homeless emcampment in the parking lot. I was also charged $8 when I got there for the pleasure of parking in the middle of this camp. That parking lot happened to be full so I was sent a block away to park in another lot. Last thing I want to do after an 8 hour drive is find parking away from the hotel in the dark. In complete fairness, once I expressed my displeasure of having to go out hunting for parking, the nice lady at the front desk allowed me to park in one of the reserved spots. Also the $8 charge for parking isnt cool. That should definately be part of the cost of the room. Oh. And the showers. They really wernt all that hot.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Plaza Hotel for just one night, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the warm and attentive staff to the beautifully appointed rooms, everything exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was exceptional, and every detail throughout the hotel reflected warmth and care. Every member of the team made me feel welcomed and valued. I highly recommend The Plaza to anyone looking for an impeccable stay — I can’t wait to return!

We enjoyed the exercise of the flight of stairs we used to reach the fourth floor. Thank goodness our stay was for one day. I am not athletic, but it was a good workout. I hope the elevator will be fixed. Breakfast was sentional. We enjoyed eating by the window. We especially enjoyed a hot tub soak evening and morning, as we have shower stalls in our home. Thank you.

My partner liked the stairs. I have shattered and fractired back... taking the steps was okay the first day. But the next day made my body unsteady.

We did not actially stay at this hotel as location was not good for us. The hotel was able to switch our reservation to stay at their sister facility which had parking at the hotel. The other hotel was lovely and had a good breakfast included.

Location was rigjt downtown and the parking was 1 1/2 blocks away. We couldn't feel that our belongings would remain safe in the car. The front desk staff agreed and moved us to the other hotel.

Excellent location in the middle of Kamloops. Parking, restaurants and breweries ;-) very close by. Very friendly and professional personnel.
