Tucked away from the main highway and railroad made for a quiet stay right on the river front and booked a room with a balcony overlooking the river. We also thought the layout of our room was excellent with a separated bedroom, plus room rate included a cooked breakfast 😀

Nothing to mention except river bank is not fenced so families with young children would need to be supervised if playing on the grassed area fronting the riverbank and upper floors are not serviced by an elevator so book a ground floor room if you are unable to navigate stairs.

Very polite and efficient Check-In. Our room was very clean and I thought very well appointed. It was good value for the money it cost. They gave us a room on the main floor facing the river. A lot of the people staying there were out on the beautiful little patio and just enjoying the evening and day. I would definitely stay there again!

There really wasn't anything not to like except the bathtub plumbing was not well done and loose from the tub wall.. We mentioned it to the front desk and they said yes, they will have to get everything redone as the recent Renos plumbing company did a bad job. I felt very sorry for them because they obviously do everything they can to make the hotel appealing and comfortable for their guests.

The swimming pool was refreshing after a long day. Staff were friendly, and the gentleman who checked us in was most helpful. All in all, we enjoyed our stay

When you went into the pool area, especially around the hot tub, felt eyes stinging. Thought either chemical was used incorrectly or ventilation was Our eyes began to sting as we came through the door and before we entered any water. This meant we spent little time in the hot tub. The pool and pool area were fine. Minor point the shower and bath fitting were loose and hot was cold and vice versa. Though, we figured it out. Staff said they were aware and it was to be rectified

We have stayed here several times before (12+), close to my daughters, as before easy check in/check out, friendly staff, the room was great (all the rooms we have stayed have been good, clean, comfortable, this room was one of the best), this trip was just an overnight so we did not used the pool or have breakfast (too early for us to eat, but we always fill up out insulated cups & a bag from the on site ice machine (-:}

not much - always a good stay, not an issue but highways has reduces assess if traveling into Kamloops, before on highway 1 you could go onto Highway 5 then make a left crossing highway 5 onto River street putting you right at the Riverland Inn, you can still exit onto to River St from Highway 5 if coming from the north but if coming Highway 1 you need to check directions closer now to get and leave, again not Riverlands the change is disappointing

The room is located in front of the river and mountains. The staff are very accommodating and kind, especially the front desk at night. The breakfast exceeded our expectations; in addition to bread, they also offered eggs and sausages. There's a hot tub and pool, which is perfect for kids who want to swim at night.

The room we received has a kitchen, which is great; however, the kitchenware is incomplete and suitable for only two people. The Teflon pan is heavily scratched, so we chose not to use it. I hope they upgrade the kitchenware and utensils to match the quality of the room. Additionally, I hope they clean the pool every day or at least run a filter to ensure it is clean each time.

You had what most other hotels provide, although some have waffles and pastries. I had the egg, sausage, bread with butter and jam. I especially enjoyed the cranberry juice, although because of the small glasses I got a few refills. The breakfast room was a bit small but I heard you plan on extending it.

The carpet leading to the hot tub and pool was a bit sketchy. The door to the toilet /bath room swings the wrong way, because if left open, it obstructs the toilet paper dispenser ( it's behind the door).

I travel a lot across Canada and this Inn is one of the best I’ve stayed at. Very nice staff, room, bed pillows very comfy and clean. Breakfast exceptional as well as the guy that was looking after it. Always made sure food was available. Unfortunately I didn’t get to use the pool or hot tub this time but I definitely will stay there again so hopefully get to use them next time. Would recommend anyone to check out the site, and reviews as you won’t be disappointed.

So...while you get what you pay for, I would say that the value here exceeded what I paid for. Quiet and clean room, albeit dated, such as worn out carpets (clean however). A/C and heating unit worked well. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was the same every day but was a "full breakfast", which had several options, which was a nice touch.

The room I was in was clean but is due for some updating. That being said, certainly the value was there for the money.

View from room and lounge area next to the river is excellent: Beautiful, calm, green, and the sunset is magnificent. Didn't use the pool or hot tub, but it looked clean. Family-run, and they are very friendly, and the breakfast room was small, but lots of options, and the ambiance was very cozy and friendly.

Some rooms still under renovation, so one light switch didn't work, and the bedside lamps were still to be installed, but this will surely be fixed over time.

Lovely location along the river. I asked for a quiet room and we had a nice room on the top floor corner and it was very quiet with a gorgeous view of the river. Breakfast was included and was delicious. Sausages, eggs, cereal, toast, juice, coffee and tea. Lovely breakfast room overlooking the river. The pool is indoors and small but the outdoor patio seating outside the pool along the river is gorgeous.

The property is in need of some maintenance. The jacuzzi tub is old and the silicon around the edges was a bit moldy, could use replacing. The furniture is dented and scuffed from age and could use a refinish. The lamp shades were stained and broken by the bed and could be replaced. Everything is in working order but you can see it could use a little sprucing up.
