The room is located in front of the river and mountains. The staff are very accommodating and kind, especially the front desk at night. The breakfast exceeded our expectations; in addition to bread, they also offered eggs and sausages. There's a hot tub and pool, which is perfect for kids who want to swim at night.

The room we received has a kitchen, which is great; however, the kitchenware is incomplete and suitable for only two people. The Teflon pan is heavily scratched, so we chose not to use it. I hope they upgrade the kitchenware and utensils to match the quality of the room. Additionally, I hope they clean the pool every day or at least run a filter to ensure it is clean each time.

So...while you get what you pay for, I would say that the value here exceeded what I paid for. Quiet and clean room, albeit dated, such as worn out carpets (clean however). A/C and heating unit worked well. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was the same every day but was a "full breakfast", which had several options, which was a nice touch.

The room I was in was clean but is due for some updating. That being said, certainly the value was there for the money.

Lovely location along the river. I asked for a quiet room and we had a nice room on the top floor corner and it was very quiet with a gorgeous view of the river. Breakfast was included and was delicious. Sausages, eggs, cereal, toast, juice, coffee and tea. Lovely breakfast room overlooking the river. The pool is indoors and small but the outdoor patio seating outside the pool along the river is gorgeous.

The property is in need of some maintenance. The jacuzzi tub is old and the silicon around the edges was a bit moldy, could use replacing. The furniture is dented and scuffed from age and could use a refinish. The lamp shades were stained and broken by the bed and could be replaced. Everything is in working order but you can see it could use a little sprucing up.

Great views of the river! Friendly staff, nice and clean room. Big patio and some loungers. We slept in and missed the breakfast sadly, but would stay here again. We saw the most incredible sunset from our balcony too!

The stairwells were filthy, saw a couple garbages overflowing, only 2 pillows on the bed, pool didn’t look great, and at twilight the lights on all the balconies turned on with really bright lights which could not be turned off. Incredibly irritating.

A very quiet place by the river. Large room with full size fridge, lounge area, cooking facilities, separate bedroom & balcony to have a drink & relax whilst overlooking the water. The manager was very helpful in printing some sheets of paper for me. The complimentary breakfast was a good bonus. Would recommend.

Possibly could have more cutlery, plates & a frying pan for guests wanting to eat in.

You sure have a little gem here! The premises are being renovated. We were staying in a newly renovated room. Once they are finished inside and out, this will be so nice! The beautiful surrounding with look onto the river is so nice! You can sit outside and have your breakfast or a nice glass of wine if something in the evening!

Everything was fine! A couple of pictures in the rooms and a couple of flowers in the garden will make it perfect!

Lovely location by the river, we only stayed for one night to break up a road trip but the rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. We also used the pool and hot tub which were open until 10pm, both were very clean and very welcome after a long day of driving. The host that checked us in was friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the patio with beautiful views.

We were only there for 1 night . The man on the front desk was very helpful ,with places to eat and explaining on where to go and what to do. Looking at the motel i think they are trying to improve it.

When we arrived , our 1st thoughts were a bit dingy. outside was not very well kept. Inside the rooms were ok , not spotlessly clean , but ok for 1 night. Breakfast was free, but i would probably pass on it if we ever stayed again.

A small amount of money bought a lot at this accommodation. A hot tub and pool for swimming, as well as an included breakfast with the budget room. Coffee and tea in the room, fridge and lots of storage. Great views of the river as well. We had concerns based on previous reviews, but Riverland exceeded expectations. The owner (whose name I did not catch) was lovely, friendly and very hospitable.

Nothing to complain about.

We really enjoy the scenery and the room we like to book is almost everything that we need. The large jacuzzi tub and private deck and the ability to sit in the shower as I have nerve damage in my back and standing can be painful.

Only thing we can think of is that it would be nice to have a microwave in the room
