When checking in, the front desk person never stopped talking on the phone the entire time to actually acknowledge the guest. Strange ! This is not the first time. However, room very clean, and equipped with what one needed for an overnight stay. Microwave/ fridge/ ice nearby. Parking immediately in front. Take away breakfast adequate to go. Hairdryer in room "fizzled" out immediately on turning it on, but on request a housekeeping attendant got one from the office and brought it over..

The room had an "adjoining" lock off door to the next room which let through quite a bit of noise late in the evening once the occupants were in there. Annoying, especially when I had the feeling they were workers or family members, possibly not paying guests..

Great value for money, just off the highway (we used it as a stopover on a long trip). Check-in was quick and easy. Room (although a little dated) was exceptionally clean, and included everything as described such as coffee maker, microwave, fridge etc. Bed comfy. Parking right outside the door. Breakfast included, basic but enough to get you going in the morning (help yourself in reception to tea, coffee, apples, muffins, yoghurts), which for the price of the room was good value. Supermarket a couple minutes drive.

Just includeing for completeness, was not actually a bad thing for us, but due to being near the highway and rail line, there was some noise but it didn't affect us at all and didnt impact our sleep.

Property is best for the price! We were tired from driving and made a last minute booking and ended up enjoying it. If you are looking for something clean to sleep in Kamloops, it is your place to go (or should I say stay). It will not cost you a lot but it will serve its purpose.

Kamloops has train rails along the highway where most hotels are. The only thing to keep in mind if you have light sleep. This is not specific for just this motel, but any other along the tracks.

The room was clean, a great size and the bed really comfortable. The shower pressure was good and the water got nice and hot. The staff friendly and helpful. Even the other guests I passed when un/loading the car were nice.

At first glance the motel looks a little run down but the room I stayed in was nice enough and much better than expected for the price. Unfortunately for all of Kamloops the train and highway traffic is noisy throughout the night, the windows were just single glazed thin sliders so might be worth upgrading for more soundproofing.

Stayed one night. Excellent value. Price included a light breakfast of coffee, muffins, fruit and yogurt. conveniently located, bathroom was very clean.

The room was a bit dim. Trains are constantly passing nearby; not a big disturbance, but if you are sensitive to sound & motion, it can be a con. There are a number of rooms that are rented to seasonal workers, so a bit more people than expected.

We have stayed at the Ranchland Inn in Kamloops for many years now. It is in a convenient spot for us, since it is +/- half-way from Vancouver to Calgary. We used Booking.com to book, and enjoy the efficiency of this process. The rooms are always clean, tidy and comfortable; linens are clean and the check-in is always friendly and efficient.

The rooms are somewhat dated, but because they are affordable, clean, handy, and comfortable, this does not bother me. I will continue to think of the Ranchland Inn first when I need a comfortable place to overnight in Kamloops.

The staff greeted me with quick service and supplied information. The room was at the back of the motel which helped with a quiet atmosphere. The room was clean and had most things needed for a comfortable stay. We did not access the breakfast due to other plans. Did not see anyone at checkout but directions available for key return. We will stay with this motel in future due to cost and convenience.

Bed had no extra blankets or pillows available which can be a huge comfort when travelling and different comfort levels for each person. Generally motels have these items in the closet space or dresser drawers.

Traveled with a group of 9. Outdoor gathering area with bbq was a good resource to have. Kitchenette was very basic, was good to have the fridge. Staff was very friendly and nice. Breakfast was yogurt, apple, 1/2 muffin and coffee. Ok if that is all you are looking for quick meal. Very nice walking trails just down the road, less than 5 minutes. Great view from up there!

Other guests who used the patio area who did not make an effort to clean up after themselves. Not the fault of property owners or caretakers. Just saying... wasn't cool. We left it better than we found it. I will note, it is just off the highway, and across the highway are train tracks. With that comes some noise. Not unbearable though. Didn't lose any sleep as a result.

The Ranchland Inn is well located just off the freeway at the end of Kamloops town. We used the hotel as a stopover on our trip in Canada. The rooms are clean and very well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. It is a great budget hotel. The hotel provides yogurt, coffee and muffins which we took as a breakfast snack on our trip.

Check in went smoothly. Front desk lady was friendly and very pleasant. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The fridge worked well. The queen bed was perfect firmness for us. The included continental breakfast was adequate to get us on the road. There were muffins, yogurt, and apples as well as coffee.

The AC was a little noisy, but to be expected with a wall unit. This is picky, but a better selection of muffins would have been nice, but not a big problem. They were all chocolate chip when I got there. Perhaps there may have been a better variety earlier, before I got there. Still, a decent breakfast.
