I was pleased with my room, very quiet and I never heard any traffic noise. It was just off a major road through town and only a 15 minute walk to two large grocery stores. A warning though: it was a very steep hill to climb up to those stores. Every staff member I encountered was very friendly and helpful. They seemed to enjoy being there. One pleasant surprise was finding out they launder every bit of the bedding, including the bed cover, after every guest. My normal habit is to remove the bed cover as soon as I enter a hotel room and tuck it in an empty drawer as many places never wash them. I found the lights in the room a bit dim as I like to do needlework in the evenings. Thankfully, I had brought a reading lamp.

Grandview Motel was recommended to me from my friend Suzanne. After a very long drive I was happy to sleep in a comfortable bed. My only complaint is the people above me sounded like he/she was pacing back and forth in their room for what seemed like well over an hour and it was really disturbing. So no soundproofing. I was so tired I managed to get to sleep.

The lady who welcomed me was really nice and welcoming. The room was clean The bed was great ! Quiet location Unfortunately I was in a hurry so didn't have time to shower or use facilities maybe next time . Thank you

We slept in many hotels and motels and I can't believe there was a day where I am able to give a 10/10 for a motel. We are not looking for luxury this is why a motel is sufficient on our many trips. We were really pleasantly surprised by this motel quality. Affordable, away from the highway, very simple, yet comfortable, very quiet, very clean (it seems the rooms were freshened up with nice blue paint paint and new fixtures). A real plus for us: they provide real coffee mugs (not the paper ones you find in most hotels). Huge windows, modern and darkening blinds to pull down. A microwave. I am a very light sleeper and fridges bother me at night. Not this one. It was the quietest fridge I have seen in many years. (Microwave and fridge also seem new). They have two BBQ's outside and picknick tables that you can use for your dinner.

I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I had messaged them that we would be in by 7 p.m. When I walked in she checked to he clock while commenting " you are early". We had a brief discussion, I paid for my room and then she realized she had forgotten the pet deposit. She apologized and I paid her the deposit. She was great and gave my dog and I a room on the lower floor. She even asked if I needed puppy pads or gloves. I assured her that I travelled with them . She smiled and wished me a good night. When I was packing the car, she even offered to help with my bags. Her cleaning team was already busy with other early check out guests so I just left my room open . They wished me safe travels and I left them to head out.

Got only charged for one pet even if i have two. Just for that i will book back with them if i go tru Kamloops again. The man at the reception was kind and very helpful. Room was alright for location.

The only reason i did not give 10/10 on every points is that you have walk tru the parking lot and cross the street to let your dog go to the bathroom. I can understand that they try to keep the grass area clean, but they should have a tiny piece of grass dedicated to the puppies.

We had a stop at Kamploops on our Canada trip and were looking for a cheap hotel/motel to sleep in. The staff at the reception were very nice and they even contacted me via Whatsapp to know about our arrival time. The motel has a grill outside which you can use (we didn't use it but saw a couple preparing a bbq). You can park in front of your room. We had a room on the first floor which was perfect so we didn't have to take our heavy suitcases upstairs. The room has everything you need. The furniture was a little outdated but everything was basically clean.

The only thing I can complain about is the bed. It was not very comfortable (for us), maybe for somebody else but we didn't sleep tight. I found a small stain on my side of the bed which I covered with the pillow and it was fine.

This is an older motel, but updates, the cleanliness, comfy bed and bedding made for a great one night stay. The room I had was small but perfect for one person. It was functional and the layout provided a wardrobe with two drawers, a fridge, desk area with chair as well as a two-seat sofa and coffee table.

It was very quiet at night but you could hear showers from other rooms in the morning. That’s typical for this older style of accommodation. I wish they also had left a decaf coffee pack.

From the moment I pulled into the parking lot and seeing how neat and tidy it was, I felt that I was at. When I met the lady at reception, my thoughts were confirmed as she was extremely pleasant, polite, knowledgeable, and helpful in all areas of her responsibility. This is an older motel, but it is extremely clean and comfortable

The room was very comfortable, especially the bed, and the air-conditioning was good without being too noisy. The swimming pool was bliss in the 36 degree heat when we arrived. We also used the laundry facility, which was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was the best value for money place that we stayed at while we were in Canada.

I can't actually think of anything negative to say about it, which is unusual for me!

Bed and pillows were comfy and clean, the shower was excellent, the room was super clean. I'd come here again. Got a great deal on the rate for one night. It was refreshing not having to pay huge money for a room for a night. Just a few updates on appliances is all that it is required. No complaints with the mini bar.

The TV was a pain to turn on. Took about 5 minutes to get it to work. Didn't like the fact that I had to set up a pin code before I could watch it. The microwave was incredibly old and did not work very well. The air conditioner was loud, outdated.
