Our two queen room was surprisingly large. We had a small balcony with an amazing view of the city and the river valley stretching northward. The bathroom towels were of a good quality,, as was the bedding. We had a ground floor room, an so were able to park right at our door. The small fridge had a freezer in it, so I was able to re-freeze the ice packs for our cooler. We also ate at the Indian restaurant on the property. Good food and incredible view.

The room lighting could be better. Also, the quality of the toilet paper could be better.

I was glad to be on the ground floor, as requested. The view was lovely and the room was clean. Everything worked as expected. Glad to have a fridge. It was great to be able to park in front of the room. Also close to everything.

The "grab and go" breakfast was okay, but when items ran out, they weren't restocked....In this case: yogurt. There was an hour left for breakfast, so there should have been a few more put out. I didn't care for an apple, so a banana would have been nice. The variety was limited. It would be great to have more than one type of snack-bar, juice or fruit, etc.

The view was amazing. Easy access to rooms as it’s a motel. Beds were really comfy with soft bedding. Vinyl flooring was nice. Espresso machines, fridge, lots of drawers. The Indian restaurant on site has the most amazing night view and delicious food for a fair price.

Bathroom was clean, shower was strong, just needs a little updating. We stayed in room 230 by the stairs of which you can hear people walking up and down. Bring ear plugs.

We stayed at the Vista Inn for one night, on a last minute decision. The person at the front desk was super nice and friendly. The rooms were very decent in size and clean. They were renovated or very recent. Beds were comfortable and the place was pretty quiet! For the price we paid it was impossible to find a better deal!

Breakfast was included in the price, but it was more of a snack bar with basic items - not a proper breakfast.

We were warmly welcomed at reception and we were given a room on the ground floor with a small balcony and a view of the river and some of the town. The room was comfortably furnished, containing all we needed for an overnight stay, and the bed was comfortable. We appreciated being able to use the guest laundromat! The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of several restaurants and fast-food outlets. The Grab & Go Breakfast was adequate.

Upon arrival we were impressed by the friendly and accommodating manner of the desk attendant. The room room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the Nespresso coffee. In the morning we required help with the wifi and the manager came to the room to reboot it. His help was greatly appreciated.

The room lighting is inadequate. It was difficult to see the coffee maker to operate it.

The front desk staff were helpful, courteous and nice. The room was extremely clean, beds comfortable, the shower hot. Our room had a beautiful view west over the city & river valley. It was very quiet at night despite the location right next to Columbia Street.

The room was a little cold when we arrived and took a couple of hours to warm up (electric baseboard heating). After that it was fine.

- Room was basic but had everything we needed for a quick stop off between Jasper and Whistler - Laundry service was a nice extra - Great location for accessing the centre of Kamloops - be prepared to walk up hills though! Parking in town was very easy and either cheap or free depending on when and where you park

- Grab and go breakfast was disappointing - more fruit would have been nice - Aircon very loud

Decentlly cebtral location. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The Motel was not fancy but OK. Excellent view over the valley.

The AC / air vent was extremely noisy. Had to switch it off to be able to sleep. The advertized breakfast was just some muffins, granola bars, and juice packs. On the one hand, this was absolutely no-thrills, on the other hand, most Motels offer no breakfast at all.

We booked the King suite right above the office. It was spacious, clean, and well appointed. We were very comfortable and appreciated having AC to keep the temperature just right through the night. The front office staff person was very friendly and helpful. The take-away breakfast bag was a nice touch.

People were smoking on the balcony right outside our door. But other than that, everything was great.
