It is in a rural area just outside of Kamloops, very quiet and the building is well kept. Room faced the mountain. There is an outdoor seating area accessible directly from the room via sliding patio doors, with a couple of chairs. The staff was courteous.

Personally, I would have preferred a room further away from the reception area.

This hotel is the most delightful 1990s time capsule. It is so charming and I loved the warm decor. They charge more for a river view, but the mountain view rooms are nicer! No highway noise and a lovely green space with 'mountains' to look onto. The location is certainly a drive out of town, but it's worth it for the beautiful and relatively peaceful surrounds. There's horses on the property and a lot of farms and ranch lands around. Plus, it is pet friendly! The long driveway and white fences made me feel like I was going to a 90s golf resort -- which is honestly the highest compliment. It was cozy in the rain and splendid in the sun. I really loved my stay here!

Our king room didn't have a fridge and the restaurant didn't have vegetarian options, so we had to go into Kamloops for every meal.

The room was lovely in a tranquil setting on the river. A 'grab and go' breakfast was given to us when we left early the next morning as a sit down breakfast was not included which we knew. The 'grab and go' breakfast was appreciated so we didn't have to get breakfast elsewhere before our travels.

My husband booked this accommodation and didn't research exactly where it was located so it was further out of Kamloops than we would have liked as we were heading in the opposite direction the following morning towards Whistler. So that was our fault not the accommodation. If you don't need to be right in Kamloops then this would be a lovely spot to stay or if you're a golfer with the course right next door.

Lovely location overlooking the South Thompson River - our room had an excellent view of the river and the golf course. Very quiet and peaceful (barely heard the trains across the river). Although the restaurant was closed for the winter season, the hosts provided coffee/tea and muffins in the mornings which was a lovely touch to start off our days. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Loved the jacuzzi tub but it is quite loud when the jacuzzi function is running.

Excellent friendly staff tried very hard to ensure we had what we needed. Nice pool and hot tub. Pleasant bar area with a good selection of drinks. A nice location slightly away from the Town centre.

Slight mix up between booking.com and hotel over date of arrival so we didn't have the room we originally booked but we're shown other rooms so that we could get the facilities we needed. The team at the hotel were very apologetic and super helpful.

We loved staying here. Our room was fabulous, super comfy and clean. We had a great view from our room. The setting was like a ranch, which was fantastic. It was relaxing and serene....a change from hotel rooms in or near town/city centres. We ate in the restaurant which was also lovely.great food and service. We rode a bike around the property and visited the nearby wildlife centre for orphaned animals. The pool was too cold for us but it would be fantastic in the summer! The staff were friendly and hapoy to help us in any way. Highly recommend!

This place is great. Proper old school hotel experience. It's good value for what you get. We used the pool and the gym (briefly). The restaurant is good value, but not mind-blowing. We would've loved to spend a few more nights there, we only stayed there to break up our drive from Jasper to Vancouver but this place deserved more time.

They block $100 when you check in for damages, which is pretty standard. After we left however, they charged my card around $60 for a meal that someone else had charged to our room. We sorted it all out after a few messages and they refunded my card very quickly. It was a little annoying though, as when we left they had told us everything was paid up, so I'm not sure why they charged my card later.

The view and facility were beautiful! Staff were very helpful and friendly. There were geese on the lawn in the morning with the golf course as the background. Well maintained and quiet.

It was a little out of the way, and we were unsure if we were going the right way to begin with, but it made more sense being next to a golf course. Would have been nice to have a better breakfast, but staff was low, so it was a pre- packaged to-go snack bag (only 2 day a wk). They did tell us ahead of time, so we had a little warning.

The property is beautiful. If you want to stay somewhere where it's peaceful and serene this is the place to stay. It is a working ranch so there are lots of animals where you can feed carrots and apples to, and they are very friendly. The grounds are very pretty which you have access to walk around freely. The early morning sunrise and the evening sunsets are fantastic too. Watch from your hotel room depending on what side you are on. The rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable.

It's a shame that the kitchen was closed because there is a staff shortage. But that did not deter us. We still enjoyed our stay immensely.

The beds, bedding and towels were great. It’s was nice to have a restaurant lounge adjoining the lobby. The view was so nice and peaceful, outside of the city and away from train noise. We had 2 rooms and they were on opposite sides and the view was nice for both. Parking was free. Room was spacious. Coffee in room.

Everything was great except for there was no fridge in the room but no worries.
