The rooms are super the pool area wonderful ( also not to use in winter) staff is outstanding (although the place is totally understaffed, they do their very best and more) breakfast good, parking easy

buffet is just not good gym needs some updates

We were quite disappointed that only one swimming pool out of four was open. And that was also the not heated one. This should have absolutely be mentioned at the booking.com site on which they promote this hotel for the four swimming pools. One day they even closed also the only open pool but opened it again after our protests. More specific communication about the topic on the website is fair and required.

We loved that one of the pools was open (winter)! More importantly, the staff were amazing. Very friendly and happy to help whenever we asked anything. The hotel was clean, and grounds well kept. The breakfast was excellent value and lots of good options. The beds were massive and very comfortable (including the pillows). The room was huge and the balcony was excellent . We had fantastic views and didn't have to get the most expensive room to get that either! Would 100% stay here again.

There needed to be more staff working at the bar. The poor lady there was run off her feet. The only other thing was the heating/ cooling in the room. We didn't have enough university degrees between us to get it right and had to open the balcony door for some cool air.

So, many pools to enjoy, beach so close, and rooms were very nice. Food was good-see what I didn't like bellow about it.

The Hot Tub was closed. I understand closing things and refurbishing for maintenance it the slower time of the year. But the Hot Tub if anything you service that in the peak of the hot season when you don't want a hot tub so much but the pool to cool off in. Also, git rid of the buffet at least for dinner. Loses it's appeal.

The rooms were very spacious and kept clean throughout. Cleaning staff were super on it and very helpful. The views from the rooms were lovely (had a limited sea view). the hotel is in quiet and relaxing part of retamar. Great connections with Bus between Almeria center and airport!

We didn't like that our room water bottles were not stocked up on daily basis, but instead is only provided on arrival. We also were surprised that the hotel doesnt provide kettle and complimentary teas/coffee in the room, especially as that is very unusual to not have nowadays, (I appreciate we have breakfast and coffee is free there but not everyone can drink all the drinks at once) - HOWEVER, despite this i would still recommend this hotel and return to it in the future.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff, amazing pools, nice spa, small gym and comfy rooms/beds. I very much enjoyed my stay. The reception team was very friendly, the breakfast and the three pools were very nice. I also enjoyed my massage. The gym is small but functional. There is live music every night and some mostly non-intrusive entertainment throughout the day like petanque, dance lessons, water gymnastics, yoga etc.

I didn't enjoy the bingo by the pool at 5 p.m. every day. Very annoying, very loud. The service and offer at the snack bar was a little inconsistent. The guy didn't speak any English and every time I ordered a soft drink I got a different size (for the same prize). The food was similar, the same dish looked very different depending on who was doing the cooking. Not bad overall but just a little bit annoying.

We liked that the hotel was directly on the beach with a nice pedestrian promenade for taking nice morning/evening walks along the sea.

The gym could be a little bigger. We were fine to three people but more would be too crowded. And dinner is served earliest at eight pm which is much too late for me. I had prefer the option to eat at six or seven.

The staff were fabulously helpful. We had a redirected flight from Malaga and ended up here because we didn't have much choice. We booked at very short notice, and took a cab and arrived at after midnight tired. The staff were very helpful, very friendly, and made our check-in super easy. The hotel is clean, spacious, and very modern. The rooms are a very good size, and the sea view rooms stare over the lit up pools and make for very nice accommodation. The beds are fantastic, massive and comfy. I only scored the location down because we were supposed to be on Malaga. In all fairness, we didn't see any Almeria as we headed off in the morning to our holiday destination.

The fact they didn't have food options after midnight wasn't brilliant as we were all very hungry.

Hotel was as new, extremely clean. STAFF went out of their way to be helpful and polite. Great for families, some activities to do in the hotel. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Location ways is very close to the beach, and within 10 mins of cabo de gata natural Park.

Seeing guest not thanking the staff ( expecially chef at dinner service) . Not hotel fault, but for anyone reading this, it takes nothing to show appreciation.
