We liked everything about the hotel, especially the staff, Diego, Fatima and Gloria. Beautiful bright spacious rooms. Very comfortable beds, and great walk in shower. Lovely restaurant with delicious seafood. Excellent breakfast. Fresh orange juice and eggs however you like them. Great coffee from a real barrista coffee machine. There is not a lot around the hotel ie restaurants, bars shops etc as next yo the nature reserve but walking distance to the beach with beach bars. The town of San Jose is a short drive with plenty of cafes and shops.

Road a little noisy if windows open.

Hotel is well maintained and very clean. It has a real family feel about it. Breakfast is very good and nothing is too much trouble. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant on several occasions. Our first room had no balcony and we asked if we could move if a room became free. This happened the next day and we weren't asked for any extra money. There is a very modern self service launderette almost directly across from the hotel.

There was nothing we didn't like.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was light and airy, and very clean. The hotel had a quiet but friendly atmosphere. Hotel staff were very polite and helpful. There is a popular, somewhat upscale, restaurant attached to the hotel. The food was well prepared and the service was very good. The breakfast, served in a different room, was also very good. The location feels out of the way, but I was there early in the season. I came to see flamingos, which were visible but distant. I enjoyed a swim at the nearby beach.

I think the location is a bit of surprise. It felt like an outpost, but in a very atmospheric way.

We loved the room which was very spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed - a fridge, kettle etc. The breakfast was very good and everyone was friendly and helpful. The hotel, which is family-run, had a welcoming feel and we felt very at home there.

Nothing really. There is no sea views but the sea is very close so this was not a problem for us at all.

Good location for what we wanted. Close to the Salinas and Amoladeras visitor centre. Breakfast was excellent - lots of choice. Staff were very friendly and helpful

We would have liked tea bags ( English breakfast) in the room and at breakfast. There wasn’t many options for vegetarians on the restaurant menu. Also an English version of the menu would have helped us!

The room with a terrace had great Mountain Views. It was very peaceful as well as bright and airy. Breakfast was great where we could choose and make our own tostada and eggs to order yogurt and fruit as well as fresh orange juice and pastries. A short walk to the beach.

The location was ideal for exploring the national park. The staff were really friendly. The room, bathroom were clean, big and well furnished. Breakfast wasn't a big variety, but it was perfect for us each morning: bread, eggs, pastries, cheese, very good coffee and fresh orange juice. Nice hotel restaurant for evening. Very good value for money.

The hotel is in excellent condition. The staff all helpful and attentive. Good breakfasts, assisted by the lovely Fatima, and we ate in the restaurant on both evenings. Very good food and Diego is always there when needed. A well-run establishment!

Nothing to dislike

Staff was very friendly and helpful in recommending where to go. The room was very spacious and had a large balcony with a Mountain View. Not much to do around the hotel other than beach but that is Cabo de Gata in general. Breakfast was pretty good.

There was a kettle and tea making facilities in the room. Breakfast was excellent. The bed was comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent

No quilt on the bed in April. So needed to use the blanket provided in the wardrobe
