Easy to find close to the centre of Avallon. The hotel has plenty of car parking on the street at the front of the hotel or in the car park at the rear. We were able to park our motorcycles in their secure garage the first night but not the second as it was full of bicycle. The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable. Ours came with a terrace and a resident squirrel. The food is very good and well priced. It. Is a short walk into town if you want to enjoy the sights. There is also a very friendly, very big, husky at the hotel called Ashka (not sure about the spelling).

We visited with our young family 25 years ago and we had a great experience. Recently, we were travelling with our daughter and granddaughter so we decided to return. The restaurant was great and the staff were wonderful and accommodating to our little one

Central location, but quiet. Safe parking. Family run and friendly. Decent restaurant with a wide choice of meals, that provided a great finish to a wonderful day.

Our room on the top floor was a bit shabby, but for the price, it was fair.

This is the second time we have stayed at Les Capucins and this time we had the opportunity to eat at their restaurant, the food was amazing and reasonably priced. The room was very clean and comfortable and was perfect for our stay with our dog as we had direct access to the garden.

The croissants for breakfast are really good but I wish there were more of them there as they are quite tiny but it feels greedy to take too many of them when there are other guests.

Private parking, friendly staff, nice restaurant and convenient location. It was easy access from the motorway and short stroll into the centre of town. Spacious room and clean.

Rooms a good size & clean. Air con. Reasonably priced for a family stay. We were going to a wedding at l'Avalonnaise - very handy for the venue
