It was charming and quaint. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly.

The stairs to the rooms was difficult with luggage for older or handicapped persons not able to do the stairs. The staff struggled with English and didn't understand everything we were saying, but we managed to get by. The highway is just outside the rooms and is quite busy and noisy at night. Other than that it was a good stay in a nice Inn on the river.

Cute little inn located outside of the city, providing a nice and peaceful couples weekend getaway. Reception staff were courteous and explained the layout of the inn very well. The room was clean and spacious with a view of the river. The queen bed was comfortable and clean so no complaints there. We had made a dinner reservation at the on-site restaurant and found the food was very tasty and fresh although being a little pricier. The rustic decor and aesthetic of the restaurant is very nice as well. Breakfast was included in our fare, and we're again pleasantly surprised by how fresh and tasty the food was. Wait staff were very polite and professional. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Auberge Handfield to anyone looking for a quiet retreat from the city!

The curtains of the room let in a little more light in the morning than I'm used to.

Need to cross the road to our room. Restaurant not open for dinner. Some information invited us to make a dinner reservation, while in reality it was not available.

There are several points I like. Its style, I love the look and feel of old hotel with lots of wood furniture. By old hotel I didn mean the one needed renovation but rather the style. Cleanliness. One of the place I stayed were I actually can walk bare feet in the room.

Very comfortable room. Staff was very helpful and nice. Breakfast was very good value. Close to very cute town with lots of restaurants. We were not able to try the properties restaurants beside breakfast.

The location was quiet and pleasant and the terrace restaurant was a pleasure. The main building was charming and breakfast excellent. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

The only down side was the loud air conditioning without which the room felt stuffy and airless.

very beautiful, spacious and clean room. we had a super stay at Auberge field. very polite and helpful employees. because of the power breakage the hot tube and spa didn’t work the day when we arrived at hotel but they repaired it very quickly for the guests convenience. we enjoyed a lot. highly recommended.

Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The location is lovely, being on the river.

While our room was lovely it was quite small for two people.

Room was average sized, bed linen was very soft, mattress was on the firm side. Bathrooms could really use a mechanical vent. Breakfast was very good. Front desk clerk, Juliette, was outstanding - definite asset to the hotel. Location is fantastic - pool was absolutely lovely.
