Closest hotel to Excelsior . Staff offered use of nearby fitness facility - but on the last night of our stay :( Complimentary water with lemon & cucumbers was nice.

Hotel was Under Construction during our stay - pool & hot tub unavailable , door to outside by pool was not secure ( unlocked ) from the outside during construction. Messy area in front of soda /ice machine . Loud noises close to room from construction next door . Staff not visible from front desk . Breakfast was average , staff in kitchen seemed unapproachable .

Great water pressure for shower, perfect complimentary breakfast, room darkening shade made the room DARK. We came up from Cedar Falls, Iowa to see the performance of Grease at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater. We will definitely be returning to this hotel for all our Minneapolis area trips. Thankyou so much for providing such a nice place to stay.

Room was very clean. Staff was very pleasant. Room was very clean which made it very easy to relax. Enjoyed the stay even though it was just over night. Would of like to use the pool but got there late that night and had to leave in morning right away. I also think they were working on pool. Atleast they were fixing or maintenancing the pool to keep it nice. I would recommend staying here.

The view from room was a empty cement room with window and a door leading outside wasnt sure what room was for if it was another entrance way. Anyway not a very good view but not end of the world must be redoing that area. I just expected to open curtains to see the grass and sky not an empty cement empty room torn down to the shell of that room. It could be worse but wasnt there to stare out the window anyway. Haha.

The bed! It was wonderful! Like sleeping on a cloud! I was truly impressed with how comfortable it was. And the room was quiet. I didn't hear other guests in the rooms around me. Very pleasant stay. Bathroom was clean Oh yes...the bed had a variety of pillow types so you could find just the right one for you. Very thoughtful.

The breakfast options were not great and the waffle maker was broken. Good coffee though. Only a few rolls were put out...not nearly enough. And I was concerned about how old the cucumbers were in the cucumber water in the lobby.

The facility was exceptionally clean. The breakfast had Greek yogurt and a variety of healthy options. We had an issue with our reservation, but the staff was quick to resolve the issue and make us feel welcome. It was an incredibly comfortable bed with a choice of comfortable pillows, a clean bathroom, and did not induce an allergic congestion reaction in my family members. We have been in good hotel chains that smell so bad we can't stay there; Chanhassen Holiday Inn was free of mold and mildew smells.

Our hotel room was a little dated.

I liked that we were able to get rooms next door to each other and the location of the hotel was close to Chanhassen Dinner Theater.

We were disappointed that the hot tub wasn't working in the hotel. Total fitness was nice, but we missed the convince of having one at the hotel.

Easy access to the hotel Availability to many sites and places from that destination The staff was amazing. The breakfast was amazing.

General Manager was very helpful and professional

The reservation I made through Booking.com was not in the Holiday Inn Express's system. Took over an hour to get a room. Will never use Booking.com again.

Poor location choice by me just for places to eat etc near by - when I come back I’ll hire a car this time for sure!
