The Vaneka family is very hospitable, they helped us with everything. You can rent a scooter there, and they can also assist with scheduling activities. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. In front of the rooms, there is a hall with sofas and coffee tables, creating a cozy common area. They also have a shared kitchen with some basic equipment, not much, but enough to prepare simple meals. A fridge is also available for guests. Overall, it's a great deal, especially with the included breakfast, which was absolutely delicious.

I had the incredible opportunity to spend a month at this beautiful guesthouse in Bali, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with such warmth and kindness that I instantly felt at home, despite traveling alone as a woman. The hosts went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. They not only offered exceptional hospitality and treat me as I was one of there family when I was sick, but even invited me to a local wedding - a truly unique experience that allowed me to dive deeply into the rich Balinese culture. I felt honored and embraced by the community in a way I never expected. The location is simply perfect. Right next to the guesthouse are breathtaking rice terraces, where you can take peaceful walks and soak in the serene beauty of Bali's landscape. It's the ideal place to stay if you want to experience the heart of Balinese culture away from the usual tourist spots. Staying here felt like being part of a family. I left with lifelong memories and a heart full of gratitude. If you're looking for a place where you can connect with the local culture, I can't recommend this guest house enough! Thank you for everything what you guys offered to me, all the memories and the help from your side when I had a food poisoning! This guest house is for ever in my heart.

It was an amazing time. The family is super friendly and we loved the breakfast. There are big rice fields behind the property for an enjoyable walk. The temperature in the area (a bit north up Ubud) is very pleasant (not too warm, and can cool down in the evening). I cannot state enough how friendly the owner and his family are. I 100% recommend to go here if you don't like to be near the crowded areas of Canggu or similar. There is a lot of variety in nature here, and is thus quite relaxing. You can find lots of locals, so good priced local food as well. You can rent motorcycles, and laundry service is readily available. They even offer activities like rafting! The rooms are very comfortable, and can range from one with a balcony, to rooms in the back of the property. The showers have good water pressure and can heat up fairly quickly. The beds are also spacious and comfy. Just book. It's worth it. :)

I felt really welcomed here , just like staying at grandparents house :) . Not only there are no tourists besides us , there are no traffic and you can totally relax and forget all those city noises. The Indonesian food that I bought in the hotel is cooked by the family of the owners , it was soooo goooood ! Definitely would pay a visit here again visiting Bali!

To Vaneka and Metri We had a wonderful stay at this lovely guest house, but more of this lovely people, thanks to the warmest hospitality of the owner, Vaneka. He made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort our first stay in Ubud Bali. We're going to miss their smile and special mention to ther cute and very friendly dog, Robi, who also looks after the guest house. 🐶😊 Highly recommended for a cozy and friendly retreat. ❤️hope to meet them again next time!

The best accommodation. The family is super attentive and will always help you, with a smile. There is a breakfast of coffee/tea, omelette/pancakes/nasi goreng/mie goreng and fruit that is served every day at the time you indicate. The room is modern and the wifi works perfect. Everyday they cleaned us the room. They helped us book the Batur trekking and the boat to Nusa Penida and Gili Trawagan at a much cheaper price than everything we found out. On top of that, a family member was getting married so they invited us to the wedding and lent us clothes, it was incredible to experience. It is located 10 minutes by motorbike from Ubud. Super recommended, we stayed 9 nights, the best in Indonesia.

Family owned, the people are so friendly and helpful. Nira, the daughter, gave us many recommendations. Rooms are cleaned every day. We chose it because it was not in the city center. So we recommend you have a scooter (which we had). You can also use Grab, which is very cheap. Also we booked the room with terrace, much space and recommended. Absolutely good value for money. Nice room, bed, good WiFi. The family who runs it does it with a smile. The breakfast is also better than most places I’ve stayed in past months. They also offer nasi/bami goreng for lunch/dinner at a small price, which was very convenient on remote working days.

Since it’s on the road to the Ayung rafting spot, there is a lot of traffic passing by at certain hours. Yet, as I felt this was (more than) fairly reflected in the price, it didn’t bother me that much.

The family was incredibly kind and helped me with anything I needed. I felt truly welcomed and cared for. The breakfast was always provided and absolutely delicious. The guesthouse is peaceful and clean. I’d definitely come back!

It’s a bit away from the center, but nothing a 20-minute bike ride can’t solve!

We loved our stay here! Run by such a lovely, beautiful, caring Balinese family! They were so kind, caring, and helpful; they bent over backwards to help us, care for my injured wife, and even drove us all the way into town without asking for anything in return. Loveliest family, amazing service, beautiful place to stay with a great bathroom, good Aircon, and a beautiful breakfast. Cannot recommend enough, 10/10 service second-to-none.
