Everything was excellent! Staff was very polite, kind, attentive to every detail, always greeting us with smiles. Special thanks to Lisna and Ari who were also our tour guides in visiting traditional Balinese home and rice fields. Also special thanks to Aristan who was not only an excellent driver during our 5 hour tour, but also was extremely kind and told us lots of insights about Balinese culture. We lived in villa with the pool which was very well maintained, clean, cozy with beautiful open air bathroom. Food in the hotel was 10/10, including delicious wide selection breakfast. Hotel itself has very relaxing atmosphere, surrounded by small villages and rice fields and lots of greenery in the hotel too. Hotel offers wide variety of free activities including visiting traditional Balinese house, rice fields, Balinese coffee making, yoga and many more which helps to get to know beautiful Balinese culture. Also they have a variety of tours for additional price to visit various places in Ubud or Bali. This hotel is a true gem in Ubud!

We absolutely loved the property and the spa. The rooms were spacious and clean. The food was flavourful. The staff are lovely!

The bathrooms were split between the toilet and the bathing area and that was a little inconvenient. The food menu was also limited is you were staying for a long time. They could add more food options.

Friendly staff, receptionists(Lopez) were very professional and accomodating. Food was exceptional especially in pool & kokoran. Delicious breakfast buffet Customer service from restaurants superb ! Our pool villa was amazing. Activity such as balinese offering by lisna was memorable, educational and fun 😊

Shampoo/conditioner/soap should be in the packaging/container where we can see the ingredients. Same products used in the public spaces vs in the room House keeping service could be better. Lack of choices for tea in the room. No milk, in the friedge in the room, due to health concerns, a lot of people dont have prima. Fruits did not get replenished unless you prompt them. No scale in the facility

My family and I arrived at this hotel after spending three nights in another hotel (also in Ubud area). The hotels were of similar apparent quality and we changed simply because we wanted to change from the a "jungle location" to a "rice field" location. However, the reality was that the Kapa Senses was actually far better than where we were. Service was outstanding and the overall condition of the rooms and facilities was amazing. All staff were super friendly and really made sure our stay was seamless and pleasurable. They gave us an upgrade so that our room was adjacent to our childrens room and additionally we left a mouth guard behind and they took care of sending this on to our next location. Overall Outstanding!

Kappa Senses is the perfect place to stay in Bali. We really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and great amenities - lovely pools and restaurants. The breakfast buffet and evening meals were delicious every day. All the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. The daily activities were very interesting and fun and we learned a lot about Bali culture from staff who were knowledgeable and kind. It is easy to get to Ubud on the free shuttle but we were happy to just enjoy the natural calm of the hotel. We are very happy that we chose to stay there.

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay at Kappa Senses to the fullest: Our suite with private whirlpool was just awesome, the whole hotel area was just stunning. The pools, especially the jungle pool, were amazing so that it was very easy to relax. Not to forget the food in the restaurants - just delicious!! Most of all everyone working at Kappa Senses made our vacation so special. The staff is unbelievable friendly and helpful and everyone made us feel so welcome. Special thanks goes to Tyara, Dyan, Ayu and Dika for being just wonderful!! Thank you everyone!! We will definitely be back :-)

The resort is absolute perfection. Every staff member warmly greets you and wishes you a pleasant stay. Upon check-in, I was offered two complimentary homemade juices—a thoughtful touch. My suite featured breathtaking views of both the jungle and rice fields, creating a serene atmosphere. The rooms are cleaned twice daily, and complimentary fruit is provided. The resort has two swimming pools, but my favorite was the jungle pool. Exceptionally long and nestled within lush greenery, it even had a small waterfall, making it the perfect spot for my daily swim practice. The breakfast buffet was truly exceptional—one of the best I’ve ever had. A perfect 10 out of 10. It offered an incredible variety, from sweet to savory, with both Western and Asian dishes, hot and cold options, an assortment of breads and pastries, and even cakes. There were plenty of vegan and vegetarian choices, a juicer for fresh-made fruit juice, and a coffee bar that also served iced coffee. Devi, a staff member, recognized my name when she saw me and remembered my food preferences, which was truly heartwarming. The highlight of my stay was the peacefulness of the room. As someone who suffers from insomnia and wakes up at the slightest noise, I truly appreciated the complete silence. For the first time, I could fall asleep relaxed, without worrying about being disturbed by noise pollution—an absolute dream come true!

I recently spent a few days at Kappa Senses in Ubud, and I must say, this hotel far exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by incredibly warm and attentive staff who made me feel right at home. The hotel itself is an absolute gem, nestled in a breathtaking natural setting. Every corner is thoughtfully decorated, blending modernity with local traditions. The rooms are spacious, bright, and offer all the comforts needed for a perfect stay. Other element that truly stood out was the exceptional quality of the food. Every meal was a delightful explosion of flavors. The breakfast, in particular, was a feast of Balinese and international delights, perfect for starting the day on the right note. The hotel's restaurant is undoubtedly one of the best I've had the pleasure of dining at. Last but not least, the staff is simply extraordinary. Always smiling, ready to assist, and going above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Their kindness and professionalism truly made all the difference. The staff were super welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. We couldn't say enough good things about the entire Kappa Senses crew during our 3-night visit. Breakfast was a standout, with an awesome mix of Indonesian and Western dishes and tons of options. We were excited to see what was on the menu each morning! The on-site restaurants were also fantastic, offering a huge variety of delicious food. We spent most of our time chilling by our private pool and the main resort pool, having a great time and already looking forward to coming back. The Omtara Spa by Clarins was amazing. If you're thinking about going, definitely treat yourself to one of the packages – it's totally worth it!

This isn't a complaint at all, just a suggestion to enhance the in-villa experience. The daily delivery of 6 x 330ml bottles of water is always appreciated. However, I think installing a larger bottled water system in the villa could help reduce waste. In the next place we stayed at, our villa had a 10-litre bottle with a dispenser, which was a great idea for guests who can't drink the tap water.

I stayed at Kappa Senses with 2 of my friends. On arrival they provided us with warm towels and a welcome drink. To our surprise, they upgraded our room to the jungle suite with the jacuzzi which we loved! The room exceeded our expectations (very spacious, clean and practical) and we were able to communicate with the staff easily through phone call or whatsapp. The staff we kind enough to give us a buggy ride when we got lost on the first day! We loved the buffet breakfast, the complementary photo provided by the photographer, gym and in-room dining options. We were also offered late checkout to 5pm since we had a red-eye flight back home. We loved our stay and would defintiely stay with Kappa Senses again!
