The villa is amazing! If you want to be in the middle of nature, that’s the place to be. You’ll hear all kind of animals around you at night. And the pool is perfect for the hot days! The family who owns/manages this business is dedicated and very responsive. Shoutout to the sweetest Nana who makes the best breakfasts, and the attentive Made and Kope. We loved our stay and we will definitely be back soon!

The only thing that comes to mind is that I think we got one of the less secluded villas (Villa 3). There was a home close by that overlooks part of the private outdoors space. but no annoyance or anything from it. Just a tip for future bookers to try to request the most secluded one.

Villa was clean, comfortable and beautiful and just what we needed. What was exceptional about this villa was outstanding support and care from Kope and his family. We were privileged to be invited to join a celebration in their family temple and Kope drove us into Ubud and on days out at very reasonable rates. The villa is pleasantly located among rice fields but there is also a hotel next door with a great view over the river gorge. If you buy food and drink you can sit on their terrace. We were sorry to leave Villa. Morninga and hope we may return in the future.

Little to complain about.

The villa is small but lovely. About 15 minutes outside Ubud, and easily reached by Gojek. Surrounded by greenery, flowers, a koi pond and most especially- a pool to relax and cool off in. The bedroom is well appointed, and the bathroom is spacious with a shower open to the air. A small kitchenette with good size refrigerator, 2 burner stove and toaster oven. Breakfasts were provided by the host, and we had plenty to eat. The host even provided box breakfasts for us when we had early morning outings and would miss breakfast at the villa- a really unexpected and lovely touch! The optional lunch and dinner menu were traditional Indonesian dishes that were well priced and tasty! Nana was always available to answer questions, provide possible tours, and arranged transportation for us to the airport.

There are a few minor issues. Not a lot of storage for clothing or suitcases. The door to the villa is difficult to keep closed from the outside, making it tough to keep mosquitoes out. And the outside gate door has no handle on the inside which would be helpful. But these as I said are minor issues.

Just everything! Nana, Made & their family made us feel so welcome & looked after. The villa is a bit of an adventure to get to, which Made & Nana made easy, but you really are on the edge of rice paddies & jungle with only 1 other villa next door. Nana is delightful, & came every morning to make us breakfast, which were the best breakfasts we've ever had in Bali (this is our 6th time here I think), & her dinners are fabulous too (thanks to Made for passing on your chef skills to your beautiful daughter!). The outdoor shower is one of the most gorgeous we've seen anywhere.

The only negative is not a reflection on the villa or the family - we booked double massages on site, which were not great (one was, one wasn't). Dewi was pushy & did not listen to what we asked for, & ended up charging us a fair bit more than we thought we had agreed on, for a service we did not ask for. Make sure you have the price guide in your hand when you agree on a service & price with the masseuse.

The customer service of this villa is top notch! The whole family is involved in the management, cleaning and maintenance of the villa. They are super friendly, warm and helpful. The property is away from all noises. All we heard was the sound of crickets and frogs. It is very peaceful, serene and welcoming. It is very clean! I was worried that with the traditional Balinese roof and mosquito net, the room might be dusty. But i am happy that it was not dusty at all. The bed was supportive and the pillows were just right. We rested very well. We love that there is a private pool. The kitchen amenities was more than sufficient for us. The bathroom is big and with an open-air shower.

We find that there was no racks/shelves/surface by the sink to put our cosmetics. Except for shower gel and hand soap there was no other toiletries. The cupboard is sufficient but the space to hang clothes is only 50cm high, hardly enough to hang clothes.

We had an amazing stay, service was exceptional. They helped us planning day trips and gave us helpful recommendations during our stay. We had Nana and Veri as our hosts. They were amazing people and friendly. During our 7 tour I got very sick and we had to go to the hospital, Nana personally drove an hour to meet us at the hospital and make sure everything was okay and bought us food, she stayed with us the whole time. after this her and her father drove a car down to get us back to the villa. Veri made specially made breakfast that wasn't on the menu as well as an extra portion. They never asked us for anything extra payment for taking such good care of us. Would absolutely reccomend the moringa Ubud villa for anyone looking to travel to Ubud. They care very much for their customers. The villa was private and service was caring and personal.

Loved the stay, the place was very romantic. Nana and her family were great hosts helping out as needed. They helped us with home cooked food when we were ill. Breakfast in the pool was a great added experience, which was so romantic on our honeymoon. Freshly prepared juices, breakfast in the morning complimented the overall experience. The room is quite rustic and gives old romantic vibes which makes the experience quite great. We loved the location as it was in a quiet place, just going to other places can be a bit time consuming, but for our trip it was a plus point.

My partner and I thought was very true to the photos. Staff was very friendly and very helpful/hospitable. They made our stay very comfortable and went out of their way to accommodate for us, including when my partner was sick. Food was delicious and cooked well and room was spacious. Lot of animals and insects around but it was expected from the location and we found the animals sounds at night quite soothing, as well as a new experience

Dodgy access to the villa through a side alleyway. Difficulty walking in the rain as it would become muddy. Lighting in the room can be improved as it is quite dark.

Nana and her team were exceptional hosts. They met us at the door and communicated promptly for everything. They were extremely passionate, and attentive to all our needs. Breakfasts were really a feast as well. The villa was quiet, clean and in the middle of nature with a beautiful pool. Bed was very comfortable and the room was large and spacious. The bathroom was clean, and the showers worked very well. The property is in the middle of a rice field and is surrounded by nature. There were some geckos on the property as well, but we don't mind them so we had no issues. There is a beautiful fish pond as well, with lots of big fish.

Excellent stay, no cons. Expect a small amount of bugs, as the property is in the middle of a rice field and is close to a forest. If you don't mind them, you won't have a problem.

The staff were absolutely amazing. Kope and his family could not do enough for us and are the loveliest family. Breakfast was also delicious and prepared fresh for us. The villa itself was secluded and romantic. The only thing I would suggest is while there is air conditioning, it could do with the addition of a portable fan to move the air around a little. Also, the bed is very hard and I guess we westerners are used to a little more softness, but that is a personal preference thing. Otherwise I would highly recommend! 😁
