Charming building, good location in the center of the town. Free parking in the back of the building. Easy to walk to both supermarket and city centre. The breakfast was really good! Beds was very comfortable. The staff was kind and always with a smile. The price was fair.

The exterior of the building looks beautiful from afar. But close up it looks like it's is an abandoned building. It would need some new paint and the interior is something between 1800 and 1970. High ceilings OK spacious rooms. but the toilets and floors are plastic carpet and outdated.

A convenient stop over whilst returning home from holiday. Fantastic old building which retained many of its original features inside. The room was massive and had a separate seating/entrance area, bedroom and large ensuite. The staff working in the breakfast room/kitchen were lovely and the breakfast excellent.

Not a lot you can do about it, but due to the weather being incredibly hot, the was no escaping it in the room as the windows were large single paned sash. If they were to be replaced however, a lot of character would be lost.

Comfortable hotel right next to the train station, supermarket and city centre are also close by. The rooms were clean and breakfast was excellent. To get in, I received a code on the day of arrival by text and email.

The rooms and much of the hotel are quite dated - everything works fine but could need a renovation. The bathroom smells a bit stale. One morning the fire alarm went off around 7am due to smoke in the breakfast kitchen.

Breakfast was beyond ... it was exceptional. I'm gluten free and vegatarian so this is sometimes a problem but wasn't. Great location by downtown and trainstation. Clean, nice staff.

Well, my first impression was that the house was a bit old and rugged, and that the bathroom looked unmodern. But soon one realized the charm also.

It was very homely and comfortable. Spacious bedroom. Everything you need for a city/town visit. Really convenient for the train station too. Lovely staff ensured I had everything I needed. Great breakfast to top it off

The first impression weren’t good due to the old building that looked abendoned.

We were staying with a dog for a few nights. When it comes to reasonably priced swedish hotels, this one is very good, plus they make scrambled eggs out of real eggs and not a powder, which I appreciate very much.

Good breakfast

The hotel was supposed to send an SMS for door code but did not, so I had to call them. This is not a romantic old hotel as it looks in the photo, but a rather impersonal ”cheaply built” house with steep stairs and narrow doors (difficult for any bigger luggage)

Our room was more like a little flat, including sauna and sitting corner. We were quite surprised, in a positive way. But the absolute best for me was the breakfast. Everything was lovely put in place and the choice was great!

The room was brilliant, great size and nicely appointed. Parking at the hotel. Good selection at breakfast and good communication. Easy walk into town.

No staff to check in with. Codes given. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I don't like this trend.
