The room was very nice and comfortable. Free parking was a big plus. The bed was very comfortable, and the air in the room felt fresh — there’s even a heater if it gets cold. The spa area was also excellent and a great place to relax.

Unfortunately, the food at the Bistro restaurant was disappointing. The Caesar salad was so bad we didn’t even eat it. The pizza was average and a bit dry. We also ordered an expensive meat sandwich, which was not worth the price. At breakfast, the oven-baked omelet was delicious, but they burned it the first time and we had to ask them to make it again. On the bright side, the food at the 180° restaurant was much better.

The view and the interior atmosphere were fantastic!!! Also, the spa had a lot of small pools and saunas and lounges so it did not feel crowded even though it was fully booked. The hotel also has a lot of other activities, like bowling, laser game, arcade halls, etc, which we did not have time to explore, so we could easily spend more nights here!!!

Nothing, actually.

The room was spacious and clean, with a breathtaking view of the entire city and surrounding nature. With the Strike club and the Friluftscentrum close by, there is always something to do. The spa was amazing, especially the possibility of being with kids there on Mondays. The breakfast was so generous that you need to stay at least 5 nights to be able to taste all the food once.

The view was absolutely magnificent and ooh myyy…. The breakfast was amazing and full of variety. The room was clean and beautiful (I experienced both standard and superior for I was there with friends). Only for the hotel I can be back to Sundsvall.

Maybe the fact that it’s a bit far, might be not easy for people who come to Sundsvall via buss or train.

Delicious breakfast, amazing view over the city and forest (sadly the fog got in the way), comfortable and spacious room perfect for family. Overall pretty clean except a few minor details.

Very tiny coffee stains? on one of the sheets and the floor close to the table. Weird bright red stains on the ceiling/wall above the bed, but we could live with these minor details! (Forgot to take pictures) Bad wifi coverage in our room and the tv could not connect to wifi.

Missed the possible views, woukd be fantastic on a clear day, but we did arrive in darkness with a lot of snow on the ground, up some steep roads, no problem as I had 4 wheel drive.. its the day after Xmas, 26th December so what with the lights & decorations & it was snowing...lovely to see Snow everywhere & a ski lift outside our window, check in was great, along with the room, we went straight to the games & bowling area to have a game & a few drinks, excellent time we had, early night as we had a long drive, woke up to more snow, Heavy too.. but hotel had a snowplough starting to clear the parking area.. Great place great memories

The nature around the hotel

You should pay 300kr for charing the car at the charging station. There wasn't any sign to notify ppl to go to reception for reservation and payment of the charge. We pluged the car and one hours later got to know that the car is not charging. Most of the hotels have free charging and I never paid more than 150 kr for those which were not free. 300kr for one charging is too much.

Fully accessible as I was using crutches. Ramps located throughout the property.

Opening times of the bistro could be better especially when arriving on a Friday. Also when it’s busy the queues for the bar is long as they don’t offer table arrive which is what you expect staying at a hotel.

The view, the room was good, breakfast was excellent with a gorgeous view. There are woods all around that are full of blueberries. 😀

The room was not cleaned properly, so we had to ask to get it cleaned, which they did. The shower was weird, and the shower doors did not close fully, so there was water all over the floor every time we took a shower.

A secluded hotel on the tallest hill in the vicinity with a breathtaking view of the whole city and the surrounding nature. Our room featured a balcony which was great to enjoy the view from. The beds were very comfortable, there was plenty of room for sitting and all our stuff, the bathroom was also pretty spacious. The breakfast was nice, with many options to choose from and the option to order fresh french toast from the kitchen. Plenty of parking in front of the hotel. The hotel is in the middle of a large nature reserve, which was a really nice change from all the city hotels we stayed in before on our roadtrip.

There was a lot of noise from all the people driving up the hill to enjoy the view (many motorbikes and cars with loud music playing), apparently the best place to enjoy the view was right underneath our balcony, which made it pretty unusable. Maybe the area around the hotel could be behind a ramp to prevent this. During the sunset, the sun shone into the mirror on the wall, which made it impossible to keep the curtains open to enjoy the view. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on Sunday so we couldn't eat dinner there. The hotel was very large and the corridors felt like on a ship. We stayed in the newest part of the hotel, I can imagine the rest of the hotel wasn't as nice as our room was.
