Very quiet, cozy & nice hotel! Great bargain price too! I guess my room was small was because of the bargain price? Whatever it is I understand it well. Location wise it's a 10 min walk from Sundsvall train station. Of course, this small Swedish city itself is quite small too. But at least this hotel is within walking distance so to get around the city it's not that hard. You can also walk to this Lidl to the east of the hotel by going under the bridge. Then if you're going west bound, that's the main part of Sundsvall city. Many restaurants as well as local shops are around here so feel free to do your shopping there. Wifi in general works pretty well. Just have to be a bit patient for it to load 1st. Then you can take a nice view of the apartments across from the street if you live on the 5th floor. A fitness centre/gym is located B1 you can also get there too by taking the lift down. Overall, pretty nice.

It was somewhat a bit difficult to find the hotel at first because their name was changed from First Hotel Strand to COMFORT INN. & it was in the corner of Kyrkogatan & Strandgatan. Then the sign COMFORT INN in on the top of the building which is easily recognisable! Room wise it's actually quite small. Then in the beginning I did not even know how to open the switch for the room nor the window. Luckily, the blonde lady at the front desk helped me & explained to me very lucidly~ Thank her for that!

It was a wonderful location that had all the facilities we needed. The shower was wonderful and the shower head allowed a lot of water to come out of it which was perfect after a cold day outside. It was a wonderful location and a great place to stay. The room size was very small (we were told about this at check-in and we could have upgraded for a fee) but only staying one night we didn't think it was necessary.

I like almost everything this is the 3rd time staying there.

the pillows. everytime.. I love the hotel but I hate the pillows. they are so so soft. this time I couldn't sleep at all and I had a headache. oh and one last thing. on the room we stayed, the fan in the bathroom was so loud and we couldn't close it and it was annoying. the other two times I stayed there the rooms were perfect (except for the pillows) but this time I wasn't happy.

Amazing breakfast, great sauna, nice and helpful staff. Had dinner at the hotels restaurant and it was great too.

The only improvement would be a bit more storage/cabinet space in the room. It worked fine because we only had backpacks but if we had cabin bags there wouldn't be enough room to open/store them.

The breakfast and the location are excellent. Location is close to the city center and breakfast is delicious and diverse. Room is clean, bed is comfortable. Accessible for pets. There are free parking lots in the hotel territory, but there are only 20, they can be booked. There is also free parking from 16:00 to 8:00 on the street, but you should be around 16:00-17:00 to find available place.

There is no fridge into the room. And also pillow could be better.

Breakfast was good. Staff very nice.

The building, it is like a labyrinth. The menu in the elevator that you post, didnt have a good information, like what time the foods are available. When we called to order chicken panini at around 3pm, your staff said it is not available.

Great location (walked from train station with our backpacks) Just incredible breakfast - absolutely everything from ginger shots, smoothies, marinated fish, brie, chutney, overnight oats, gluten free, plus of course eggs, bacon etc Great staff

Rooms were very small We had to squeeze round the bed and there is nowhere to store cases/bags/clothes apart from a tiny cupboard for 2 pairs shoes and 2 coats So everything ended up on the tiny floorspace. No shelf, table, cupboard - just no space!!

The hotel has an exceptional central location. The breakfast included is full and hearty. The parking garage about 3 minutes walk is very reasonable. We’d stay here again, no question.

On our second night our room faces an ally with a basketball court. On Friday evening some extremely LOUD youth showed up and kept things going throughout the night into to early morning … not good!

The hotel staff were very welcoming got an upgrade on our room. The meals in the steakhouse were excellent . Breakfast was excellent plenty of choices. Special thanks to Nikos and Stefan for looking after us so well. Our room was spacious and clean, housekeeping in every day. Great view over the bay. Location is excellent.

Great location in the centre of town, about five minutes walking to the main square. We had the small room but it was big enough for two big suitcases. Comfortable beds. Kind and professional staff and tasty breakfast. Regarding parking: the hotel garage was full so we parked in Parking House Stuvaren for 24 hours tariff 5,25€, located about five minutes walking from the hotel.
