Very quiet, cozy & nice hotel! Great bargain price too! I guess my room was small was because of the bargain price? Whatever it is I understand it well. Location wise it's a 10 min walk from Sundsvall train station. Of course, this small Swedish city itself is quite small too. But at least this hotel is within walking distance so to get around the city it's not that hard. You can also walk to this Lidl to the east of the hotel by going under the bridge. Then if you're going west bound, that's the main part of Sundsvall city. Many restaurants as well as local shops are around here so feel free to do your shopping there. Wifi in general works pretty well. Just have to be a bit patient for it to load 1st. Then you can take a nice view of the apartments across from the street if you live on the 5th floor. A fitness centre/gym is located B1 you can also get there too by taking the lift down. Overall, pretty nice.

It was somewhat a bit difficult to find the hotel at first because their name was changed from First Hotel Strand to COMFORT INN. & it was in the corner of Kyrkogatan & Strandgatan. Then the sign COMFORT INN in on the top of the building which is easily recognisable! Room wise it's actually quite small. Then in the beginning I did not even know how to open the switch for the room nor the window. Luckily, the blonde lady at the front desk helped me & explained to me very lucidly~ Thank her for that!

This hotel is absolutely perfect for a pleasant stay in Sundsvall. The staff were welcoming and helpful. It was clean, comfortable and in a convenient location close to the stone city. The hotel restaurant is also very good, with nice meal options and a 10% discount if you're staying at the hotel. If you want hotel accommodation in Sundsvall, I'd totally recommend!

It was a wonderful location that had all the facilities we needed. The shower was wonderful and the shower head allowed a lot of water to come out of it which was perfect after a cold day outside. It was a wonderful location and a great place to stay. The room size was very small (we were told about this at check-in and we could have upgraded for a fee) but only staying one night we didn't think it was necessary.

I like almost everything this is the 3rd time staying there.

the pillows. everytime.. I love the hotel but I hate the pillows. they are so so soft. this time I couldn't sleep at all and I had a headache. oh and one last thing. on the room we stayed, the fan in the bathroom was so loud and we couldn't close it and it was annoying. the other two times I stayed there the rooms were perfect (except for the pillows) but this time I wasn't happy.

Standard hotel with friendly staff, good breakfast.

Problematic parking in front of the hotel with a few places belonging to the city, payment possible only via SMS (a foreigner cannot pay this way as the system does not recognize their identification number) or through an application, and the staff are not inclined to help.

Amazing breakfast, great sauna, nice and helpful staff. Had dinner at the hotels restaurant and it was great too.

The only improvement would be a bit more storage/cabinet space in the room. It worked fine because we only had backpacks but if we had cabin bags there wouldn't be enough room to open/store them.

I greatly enjoyed the general style of the rooms. They were well decorated, although sadly the batteries for the tv-remote werent there. The shower was probably the best part of the stay!

Excellent breakfast, and very good location, quiet and near the station.

The room was adequate, if a little cramped, with little space to store luggage. We were warned that this was an economy room, but since we were only staying two nights it was OK

Room is small but was great for my needs as a single traveler. For two people probably not perfect. Breakfast had what I needed. Clean, modern room.

Location is okay, and there was some, but not a lot a lot of noise from outside during the nighttime.

The building, it is like a labyrinth. The menu in the elevator that you post, didnt have a good information, like what time the foods are available. When we called to order chicken panini at around 3pm, your staff said it is not available.
