Easy check-in process came before a comfy and spacious room, with the added bonus of having a balcony with a table and chairs, complete with a view towards Ljubljana Castle. The en-suite bathroom featured the usual amenities, including a good shower and sink space, which made the room itself pretty much perfect, minus a slight temperature issue at night. The location was 10/10, and was no more than a 3 minute walk from the most central points of the city, so it couldn't have possibly been any better. Overall it was incredible value for money, and I would definitely stay there again.

Struggled with the air con, and the room was a little hot when going to sleep.

Everything was fine, the room was very large. There were 4 of us and we had two large bedrooms. The place, despite being right in the center, was very quiet. Breakfast was €5, excellent. After check-out they gave us the opportunity to keep our luggage in the dedicated room for free. The cleaning ladies were very kind and super helpful.

When booking I asked if there was a parking for my car and I was told yes where you paid €45 per day but when checking out with them, having an agreement, you paid €12 per day. They give me an address, I put it on google maps and when checking out I discover that it was not the parking. I paid €70.

We stayed just one night, so location was key for us—and this hotel delivered. It’s perfectly situated right in the city center, but tucked away in a quiet area, which made for a peaceful stay. The staff were very friendly and even arranged garage parking nearby, which was a big help. Our room was clean and comfortable, with cozy beds and everything we needed. Breakfast was a nice surprise for only 5€, offering a good start to the day. Overall, we got exactly what we expected from a 3-star hotel and would definitely stay here again.

One thing to note: the hotel isn’t housed in a single building but spread across several smaller, older buildings. We had no issues, but it’s possible that experience could vary depending on which building you’re placed in—something to keep in mind when reading other reviews.

This is a little gem. Highly recommend. We prioritize location, value, and cleanliness. This hits all 3. It sits back in a little courtyard 50 meters from the main square making it a perfect location. Quiet and comfortable beds. Also highly recommend the 5 euro breakfast. Tour groups book this hotel, so you know it is decent. We drove and the hotel communication about where to park was good.

This is in the pedestrian area, so parking is several blocks away. We gladly trade location for walking a bit farther from the garage, but just be aware if you are carrying heavy luggage.

The room was super for a family of 5. We had 2 large rooms and a quite big bathroom. There was space for everything, walls were painted in a acid green theme, like the beds, and we loved it. Breakfast was good, for 5 euro there was a buffet on sweets and cold cuts, different breads, some fruits, and drinks like at a café (coffee, milk, chocolate, juices, teas...) The staff was super professional and helpful...but the big plus of it is that you get all this in the pedestrian centre of Ljubljana. From there everything is reachable by feet in a safe way. Highly recommended.

Excellent location. Clean, well appointed and good value for money

We had a “green room” so we had a separate space for the third bed. It was spacious and gave us enough separation with a toddler which was nice.

The half glass shower door thing. You can only use half the shower since the rest of the shower is open. And the shower head is so low and angled into a corner. Very inconvenient to have a handheld shower head and a half piece of glass. There should be more options on the ground floor for family rooms considering they usually travel with lots of stuff and things that can’t easily go up and down the stairs since there’s no lift. They should also tell you in advance that the room entrances are outside and split up.

This is a great hotel right in the heart of Ljubliana. Rooms were cosy, and bathrooms comfortable. The breakfast is excellent value. A basic laundry service is available (just wash and dry) if you are desperate, and really reasonably priced (better than me spending time at a laundromat).

(I'm sorry this bit is longer than the positives - it really is a great hotel, but the following are just hings to bear in mind, rather than criticisms) This hotel is spread across multiple old buildings, so I understand that rooms can vary in size and arrangment. It also means that there is no lift available to the upper floors and oftern there are split levels even at ground. It is just worth mentioning, as steps may be an issue for many. There is no kettle in the room, but one is available in the common area. No water nearby to top up though. It is in a pedestiran only zone, so you will need to walk a short way to/from taxis.

Fabulous location in the historic centre. A very short walk to Preseren Square and all the sights, restaurants and bridges! The property is set around a courtyard and we stayed in a room suitable for those requiring a wheelchair so it was large and spacious. My husband would have preferred the shower to be set high up the wall rather than low but that is a small point. We booked breakfast at 5 euros each per day, which was plentiful and adequate to set us up for the day. Ask for specific instructions for the car park. It is a short walk away (10 minutes for us at the most) for 12 euros per day. The instructions given by the hotel were excellent and the procedure straightforward. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for a budget stay in Ljubljana.

My room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The bed was plush and allowed for a great night's sleep after long days of sightseeing. I was also very impressed with the breakfast spread - it offered a decent variety of delicious and high-quality options to start the day. Overall, I couldn't have been happier with my choice to stay at this hotel in Ljubljana. The unbeatable location, well-appointed facilities, and excellent breakfast made for a truly memorable visit. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch accommodation in the city.

The only minor suggestion I would make is to consider installing an elevator, as the stairs could be challenging for guests with heavy luggage or mobility issues. However, this did not significantly detract from my overall excellent experience.
