We had a fantastic experience at this hotel! From the start, the staff was super friendly and even allowed us to check in early, which made our arrival much smoother. The hotel is in a prime location in Ljubljana, making it easy to explore all the major attractions. Everything we needed was available, and the hotel was spotless, which added to our comfort. One of the best parts was how relaxed and happy our 3-year-old son was throughout the stay. It made our trip even more enjoyable! Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ljubljana.

Nothing to dislike about this place

My arrival was late so I notified reception that I may not arrive before they closed. They were very quick to communicate that arrangements would be made if I didn't arrive in time. I did arrive in time & staff was very pleasant, supplied me with several croissants & directed me to a popular pizza place for a late dinner. My room was absolutely wonderful, with a nice view of the castle. After traveling for several weeks, it was the ideal place for me to recuperate. The breakfasts were excellent, the location was perfect & was a wonderful base to explore the area. Thank you!

Valen was very friendly and helpful, organised transfer from airport, answered lots of questions. Lift to rooms helped us a lot with heavy luggage. Spotlessly clean. Appreciated the bath in the room and the relaxing, modern vibe. Excellent price to stay in this wonderful historic heart of this amazing little city. Quiet location but a very short walk to the main sights, bars and restaurants.

Not really a quibble but only basic filter coffee included for breakfast; you have to pay for espresso etc.

The Art Hotel is a wonderful property well situated in the heart of the scenic Ljubljana Pedestrian District. Rooms are well appointed and extremely clean . I was most impressed by the staff. Ellis, Maja, and Urh are professional, demonstrated good local knowledge of restaurants etc. They are also very kind people. I needed to extend my stay and both Ellis and Maja went out of their way to accommodate me . I appreciated their efforts very much. Breakfast at the Art Hotel is very good. There is a broad array of food selections presented in buffet fashion. Urh , the fellow who oversees breakfast does a superb job. He will make on order exquisite scrambled eggs and omelets. Urh also has an encyclopedic knowledge of Ljubljana and is happy to share all this in 5 languages. On my next visit to Ljubljana I will most certainly choose the Art Hotel.

I have no criticism to extend to Art Hotel . The only suggestion I have pertains to the guests. During my stay there were several guests who showed a lack of consideration for others by using their speaker phone feature or Zoom to have conference calls in the breakfast area of the hotel. I find this behavior to be very disruptive and plain rude to other guests and hotel staff . I would urge hotel management to forbid this behavior in the breakfast area and alternatively to urge guests to conduct phone calls within their room or outside. Posting a sign in the breakfast would be helpful .👍🤔

We literally liked everything! It exceeded all our expectations and when we were leaving it felt like leaving home. Hotel is beautiful, breakfast amazing, location - close to everything, but away from all the hustle of bustle, BUT - the highlight of this place is their staff and manager. Especially Maja, the breakfast girl, who always greeted us with the smile, was so friendly and nice. Also manager - Julija - such a wonderful lady! Very kind and very professional. You dont always get to hug hotels staff when leaving, but here we did:) Such a lovely experience it was and I really hope we will return to this place someday.

The hotel was clean and spacious with bathroom, shower and good air conditioning. The staff allowed us to our room early which was nice. The location was very close to the old town and easy walking distance of the railway station. Breakfast was tasty although the option for eggs was somewhat hidden and not enthusiastically offered by the staff.

A slightly better understanding of how the breakfast menu worked would have been nice.

Excellent location in the old town. Staff were very helpful, welcoming and always pleasant. Spoke excellent English. Room very comfortable with good storage.

The bathroom was very fancy but not practical in some respects. Fixed shower screen in bath meant you had to get into the bath to turn on the taps. Floor of shower stall was slippery. No handgrips in bath or shower stall. I didn't feel very safe showering. No ledge or shelf to your shampoo, etc, in shower stall.

We loved the location of the hotel - it was so close to everything and inside the pedestrian area. The staff were also really friendly and happy to help with any and all questions we had about the city. Our room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable.

We only have a couple of recommendations - we wished that the lights for the bathroom were in the bathroom and that the toilet had more privacy, we would also recommend the hotel to have a bed for babies and a highchair.

This hotel was right in the middle of the town, while still being quiet and peaceful to sleep. The decor was modern and comfortable - we particularly liked the LED lights in the bathroom 😂. The staff could not be more helpful, organising a taxi to the airport for us, and keeping our luggage for the day. We all had a great nights sleep and found everything we wanted to see in ljubljiana within easy walking distance

The neighbourhood was quite and peaceful. It's also very central so you can easily walk to all main attractions. The room was very clean and spacious. All staff were kind and they arranged a taxi for our airport transfer. Breakfast was simple but enough. I liked their homemade paste mixtures like tuna and olives.

I wish there were slippers and a mini fridge in the room. The bathroom door is glass and kinda transparent. There are thin curtains still it doesn't feel private enough. And the croissant in the breakfast was the worst one I've ever eaten.
