Thank you very much for our short but very eventful stay. Comfort is the characteristic of the hotel. Excellent location, right on the beach, but not near discos and crowd noise. Excellent huge parking. very!!!!!! delicious breakfast from local products, I had a small room, but with a view of the ocean, there are larger rooms for accommodating families. everything is clean and tidy in the rooms. In one day we managed to do absolutely EVERYTHING: we ate very tasty, met the sunset and sunrise on the ocean, danced at the disco, shopped in stores until 12 at night, went surfing and just swam. IN GENERAL - Excellent location and excellent people. Thank you very much!!!

The location is very convenient and extremely central. The lady at the frontdesk was extremely kind and helpful, and we could put our bikes in the garage. Shoutout to her!

The rooms on the pictures are the renovated rooms, but we got an old one which really was straight out of the 70s or 80s... very small and almost no room to move. Breakfast was 13 euros, which I guess matches the average price in town, but still felt a bit underwhelming... There was very little fruits, no options other than cow milk and little space to move at the buffet.

I have stayed here many times before. I love the staff, who cannot do enough for you, the solitude and the proximity to the beach. Their breakfast is certainly better than most and considering the sandy beach literally being just metres away, the cleanliness of the hotel is nothing short of astonishing. Astrid and her team run a tight ship.

Nothing. The Hotel de France satisfies all my needs.

I've said it before and will say again these guys are amazing. The ladies who run the Hotel are just amazing and friendly and they speak English and they are just fantastic. Just stay there. The hotel has a wonderful ambience, its location is amazing and the breakfast in the morning is perfect......

Good location, great breakfast until late (11:30), nice and comfortable room (the Double comfort ocean view)

There is another building in front of the window, so the ocean view is only true from side, but this was not a big deal

+ the location is perfect: just 2 steps from the beach and close to many restaurants and shops; + free private parking also 2 steps from the hotel; + the owner and the staff are very friendly and helpful; + the breakfast is good and served until 11.30, which is a huge advantage; + the room was normal size and very clean; I’ll definitely recommend this hotel and I can stay in again with pleasure.

- there was a small leakage from the sink in the bathroom: nothing serious, but annoying; - it was good that our room was on the 1st floor, so we could keep the windows open 24/7, but it was noisy at night. As the location of the hotel is central, there is noise also during the night. I guess, you can’t have it all ;) - we stayed at the hotel in the beginning of August and the temperature in the room was ok, but it could be really hot and I guess not very pleasant, if your room is at the parter floor, which would mean that you can’t sleep on the open windows… But still those were minor remarks that could not affect our holidays. We had great time.

The location was excellent for the beach and restaurants. Parking was easy in their car park. Lovely staff.

A better selection of herbal teas in the room. Though most hotels in France don’t offer tea facilities at all!

Fantastic location very nice atmosphere, great staff.

The bedroom was really hot and no fans available. Also there was nowhere to sit when the bar was shut.

We were promised two single beds and received a double/queen. I was traveling with my 13 year-old grandson; it worked out okay.

Lots of choice for breakfast, they also have a bar and the location was close to the beach and restaurants. Left my motorcycle in their locked garage which was great
