Room 314 was beautiful. The suite was big with a lovely ensuite. The room was separated well by floor design: carpet for the bedroom area and an exquisite polished wooden floor for the sitting area. The bed was extremely comfortable and decorated well. The hotel itself is old yet seems well maintained. The rooms are of an old manor style, and the bar area in the orangery has a feel of the past. I loved the art in the breakfast room, which tells the story of Shackleton's journey and the link to Punta Arenas.

The only thing that could improve in room 314 is the radiator in the hall area continually clunked through the night.

I’m not huge on hotels, something about paying a large amount to have less privacy as opposed to an Airbnb isn’t really for me. I decided to stay here for two nights as part of my honeymoon. I can say I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel, the quality of the breakfast, the quality of the amenities, and the quality of the staff. All top tier. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful, made great recommendations, and even went above and beyond when it wasn’t required. Needless to say I loved this stay. It was a bit expensive, especially for a hotel, but to be honest I’m happy I stayed here. I chose this place due to the architecture. I enjoyed this place because of everything else. 10/10 location was great, close to many restaurants and in the center of the nicest part of Punta Arenas. Sure this place is expensive, but you get what you pay for and this place is a prime example of that.

I’m not a huge fan of hotels. I don’t enjoy having housekeeping come during my stay, but I didn’t set out a DND card so that’s my fault. The housekeeper threw away a souvenir beer bottle (she didn’t know better) and the bartender at the hotel was kind enough to replace it free of charge. Really not much to complain about.

This property is beautiful. The building feels. And is historical. It has been sensitively restored and the fact that it's small really makes it feel like you are staying in a grand dwelling from years ago The fact that there is a museum in the building which guests have free access to, is a massive added bonus The hotel is right in the centre of punto arenas right beside the central square, so it's really handy to everything The staff were really helpful and friendly The rooms are a little small, but they are well equipped, and I think it's just a factor of the maintenance of the original layout. This is definitely not a corporate standard chain hotel, which I love

There's nothing really I would negatively rate in the hotel, if you like a quirky, original building, this was it. And the price we paid was excellent

10/10 property. We travel around six times a year to Punta Arenas so we know the hotels around and the area pretty good. The hotel is spectacular, is basically staying at the most southern palace in the world. Facilities are very modern, heating works really good. The staff is very friendly and they were able to accommodate all of our requests. Thanks a lot to the team, we will be back!

Perfect Hotel ! From the excellent architecture that captures the essence of the history of the place, to the decoration. Very confortável room, great bed and shower, heater worked very well. The location is strategic, walk distance to several places. Staff was very solicit and polite. Breakfast was delicious as well.

All was perfect!

The hotel was quite interesting. It's an gorgeous, older building (though it seems to have been remodeled and kept up well). In a nearby restaurant, we saw a painting of the hotel from an earlier time. The staff at the hotel were very helpful in pointing us to a shop that could help us with a phone problem. I wish we had stayed more than one night, as there were other things we would have done in the area (like see condors).

Everything was ok Clear numbers, hot water, nice interior and location They made pick up breakfast for is, because we left hotel early in the morning

We wanted to have a dinner but their restaurants kitchen was busy for more than 1 hour, we didn’t understand what does it mean and had to find restaurant not in the hotel

Beautiful building, large rooms. Staff very pleasant at all times, but felt " homey". I loved having a cocktail at the bar, and i walked everywhere for lunch / dinner / cruise check in. ( only not to national park) Theres a wonderful " patagonia hecho a mano" down the block. Not souvenirs but artisan wool products

A pleasant surprise to find we were staying in one of the nicest mansions in the town. Everything was very lovely from the staff to the room and breakfast. Would recommend it.

It was nice staying in one of the historic old "palaces" of Punta Arenas. It was comfortable and in the center of the town, making it easy to walk anywhere easily.

The rooms are somewhat small but that was expected at an older historic hotel.
