Wonderful family feeling, pet friendly, and super eco friendly. I love how they use natural ventilation and light. Sitting at the breakfast bar in my room looking out at the jungle, drinking coffee, seeing monkeys in the trees? And hearing the chirping of the birds to lull me to sleep? WOW! highly recommend this place for travelers with pets, families, and people who love low-impact low-footprint tourism. Just ten minutes from Puerto Morelos, very close to cenotes and adventure parks. My room had a kitchenette and an outdoor seating area. Really good time here. Actually a place to relax!

A stunning location in the heart of Ruta de Cenotes. Why anyone would stay in Cancun, when this place is only a half hour from the airport, is beyond me. Amazing staff, incredible location and superior room experience. The owner, Melonie is on site to ensure everything is attended to, and that you have everything you need. Was given a better room than the one I booked, great wifi, hot water and AC in the room. Some people may find it too far out of the way, but if you need a true escape, and a sublime piece of nature, this is the place to check out.

I couldn't stay longer as I had pre-booked my next destination.

The location, although slightly away from the main areas, is at an amazing spot where you can refresh and run away from the hustle and bustle of the cities. I really enjoyed the jacuzzi, the breakfast prepared by Roberto, and fun talks with Malonie. The location is great if you want to go to Puerto Morelos, Cancun, and Chichen Itza. I plan to add a full tour of this place on my YouTube channel, Desi Rocket Scientist.

Everything was great! I am surprised how many people don't know about this place yet. People planning to go to Cancun should try this place out as it is very peaceful!

Some thought and beautiful energy has gone into the property. We could see it being a wonderful venue for retreats. So we had hoped for a peaceful, jungle experience for a couple of days to recover from driving on the opposite side of the road in a fast paced country. Sadly we were woken early by construction directly below our room, which continued at different levels throughout the day. We couldnt get the toilet to flush, which was a bit embarrassing, and we had to ask for soap. We had also read on a review that the pool was ceynote fed, but it was heavily chlorinated. Puerto Molenos is half an hour away across the motorway so we got our host to prepare some food for us. Challenging for him as we are both vegetarian so it was salad. If you are getting your meals catered there, perhaps a good idea to ask the price, and byo. We were charged AUD50 for a $20 bottle of wine. In any case, it was very clean. A fridge for beer and water only, and the beds were comfy. We would have preferred fans to ac but we at least had windows we could open - not the case in most budget accommodation weve encountered.

Construction noise. Toilet not flushing. No fans. No soap.

This is a restful haven in the middle of the jungle, where all you hear is birds and maybe the gentle dripping of rain from the myriad of leaves all around. It was too rainy for us to want to use the pool, but it looked lovely - large and clean. The mock beach where the seating is was a nice touch. The breakfast was reasonably priced and delicious, although in 30 years of coming to Mexico, we've never had pieces of tortilla mixed in with the huevos a la mexicana before. We suspect they may do this for bulk, so they can use fewer eggs, but that's just our impression.

To manage future guests' expectations: this isn't a hotel in the usual sense, in that there is no housekeeping. So don't expect your room to be cleaned, bed made or bin emptied. And there's no soap or shampoo provided, although you do get toilet paper. This makes it more like a holiday let situation (our room had a kitchen) with the reassurance of someone nearby to help if needed.

We’ve stayed at this hotel more than once, and we love it! Is pet friendly and that’s very important to us, as we always travel with our dog. The rooms are always spotless and comfortable, and the hotel grounds are well maintained, with a pool and a peaceful relaxation area. It’s a lovely place to be, and you can really feel the care and love that’s been put into it. The owner is very friendly , warm, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. We highly recommend staying here to enjoy some quiet time surrounded by nature. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

Hokhman Heart Hotel is a gem hidden in the heart of the jungle 🌴 The staff spoke a wide variety of languages and were kind, considerate and welcoming.🇦🇫🇨🇵🇬🇧 IF I found my apartment lacking for anything all I had to do was ask. 🙏 If you are expecting a resort experience you will be best staying in tourist locations. However if you are open to the whispering of the universe & a calm peaceful experience . 🌟This is your place.🌟 My children enjoyed the pool, the swings and the menagerie of sweet animals. I enjoyed the incredibly comfortable bed, the best I have had in many years. The shower and bathroom were exceptional for the location and I hope to return many times. 🍀 💖Mucho Gracias💖

Please be advised this is not a hotel I'm a city. This is a place of kindness and returning to the spirit of travel. A car is recommended as we are off the main highways. However the location is easy to find 🗺️

We arrived relatively late, directly from Cozumel, salty and tired. The owners were waiting for us with a delicious meal (perhaps the best we had in our week long stay) and they dried all our wet clothes from the beach as we needed to depart very early the next morning. It was a life saver. We only saw the hotel at night. It was stunningly beautiful yet marvelously simple: the way we like it. Dinner tables were hand made from local wood, every detail was lovingly set and attractive. To be clear: this is not a luxury hotel, but one that knows how to make you comfortable in good taste. We had three beds for a family of four (excellent) and the sheets were surprisingly dry for a damp region in the middle of the forest. The owners were extremely friendly. We chose the hotel for the proximity to the airport and slept there only a few hours. I regret not having spent more time, enjoy the pool and explore the area. We may come back. We wholeheartedly recommend this neck of the woods. We are spreading the word among our friends.

Didn't stay enough to detect anything wrong. We did not have breakfast because we left before dawn to catch a plane, but dinner the night before was simple and simply delicious.

Beautiful jungle escape with well manicured grounds and laid-back friendly lifestyle. They had a fire every night that was a gathering place. A very unique stay with incredible flora and art full attention to highlighting old growth, forest and wood.

Some oversight of the kitchen is needed. We had to ask for potable water which they brought in a 5 gallon jug. Also If you are going to use the kitchen, ask for soap and cleaning cloths, etc. and make sure you have sufficient cookware

Good hot breakfast included in the stay. Nice location in the jungle off the Route of the Cenotes with easy walks for bird watching and cenotes. Lounge chairs in sandy area near pool. We appreciated the upgraded room. We enjoyed having the farm animals (ducks, pig, chickens, turkey) though the turkey could be loud at times. The owner, Malonie, was very helpful in arranging transportation, excursions and providing additional kitchen equipment. Laundry service was appreciated.

Unfortunately the room didn't have hot water during our stay but we should have simply asked for it to be checked. We appreciated being able to order optional dinners though they were not extensive
