Me and my girlfriend loved this place, we would definitely consider to come back again one day. We already miss this place. We stayed in the cottage, which was very clean and practical, absolutely top value for money in my opinion. Cameron, the host, was very welcoming and helpful at arrival. We couldn’t have chosen a better place for our first trip to Scotland.

Nothing, place was beyond our expectations

Great little pine chalet in quiet countryside 10 mins drive from Tain and 15 mins walk from Portmahomock. Cosy bedroom, lounge with tv, bathroom with roomy electric shower and kitchen diner with microwave, fridge, induction hobs, kettle and coffee machine. Everything you need for a self catering break. Ideally placed for Tain or walking the coastal path to Tarbet Ness. Super peaceful at night. Reminded us of a traditional Norwegian hytter.

Our host was super friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. If I was to base a return visit on her character then I’d return immediately. Such helpful information about the place. Thank you!

Breakfast was budget ingredients from Lidl. I have no problem with this shop but I feel that they are very heavy on the ingredients in their foods being highly salty and sugary. I think for the cost of the accommodation a little more of a premium breakfast would be appreciated.

All of it. The area is so nice and I love visiting. The cottage was amazing and had everything you needed and tain really wasn't far away. It is separate and attached onto the main house so everyone has their own privacy and doors. You can also get a discount at a local restaurant if you stay so if you fancy a nice meal also this is the place to come. Very peaceful and beautiful.

I honestly don't think there was anything.

The area is very remote and quiet, yet there are amenities like a Tesco Superstore only a 10 minute drive away. We stayed in the little garden house/cabin. It’s small and cozy but has everything you could possibly need.

Perfect place for our one night stopover 'off the beaten track'. Had everything we needed and nice touch with beverages, milk & breakfast cereals. Great communication with host. Also recommendation of nearest places for groceries.

Brilliant accommodation. Friendly welcome. So cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Very spacious wardrobe/storage area. The small fridge with milk provided was great. Also a choice of cereals and all crockery provided to do you own breakfast. Great value for money too. Great spot to stop over to explore this beautiful area.

Good parking facilities, generally good facilities, friendly staff. Kitchen spotless and lots of useful items to cook with. Sofa so comfortable. Shower very good

The bed had been broken previously and repaired. Very noisy when getting up during night to use bathroom, kept waking partner up

Very friendly, helpful host. Off road parking. Good location, but you may need a car as it's away from everything, which was great as it was very quiet. Breakfast cereal and milk provided. Spotlessly clean and very warm.

Everything was spot on, just what was needed.

If I’m being very picky, just the shower wasn’t very powerful, not the end of the world, and not worth not booking the property again, as I definitely would.
