Staff really friendly. Limited food menu in the evening, good choices only mentioning for others to be aware. I had the macaroni cheese, loved it, real comfort food not the trendy mac and cheese. Restaurant only for guests. I knew the room wasn’t large when I booked, it was fine for just me. Loved the decor. When I’m back up will definitely stay again if available.
I struggled to operate the shower. It’s modern but with no symbols. I only got water as I accidentally pulled the knob. No indication of where the water will come from. It looks like the choices are overhead, straight face/back jets, low level for feet and a hand shower. Nice shower when I got it going but please can I suggest instructions.

Lovely hot shower. Breakfast was good, with lots of choice. Heating in the room worked as it was quite cool weather. Evening meal was nice.
No cleaning supplies in the shared bathroom for when other guests had not left it clean. Rooms could do with a bit of a face lift and new mattresses as they felt lumpy and uncomfortable. Would be quiet if it wasn't for other guests showering at 11pm in the shared bathroom next to our room keeping us awake. Water pipe knocking for some time thereafter. Not considerate to shower that late really. Not the hotels fault but perhaps a sign could be put up giving guidance on this to guests.

Location was perfect for our motorbike tour along the NC500. Private, off road parking was useful. Staff were friendly. Comfortable room with shared bathroom across the hall (although when we stayed there didn't appear to be anyone else using the bathroom). The spacious bathroom had a shower and a bathtub. I appreciated the nice toiletries supplied. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Limited dinner menu also available (handy as there aren't many other options in town).
Dinner was tasty but rather expensive (in my opinion).

The hotel position was fine. Spotless clean!.The room was lovely as it looked out across Cromarty firth with the gas rigs. Very interesting 👌. Good breakfasts and evening meals are a little limited, but that was fine for us. The staff were very friendly and amenable as we had an early start one day, and the chef had made us a bacon sandwich to take with us.
Nothing, really. Perhaps a rubber mat for the shower cubicle would have been useful.

The staff were so helpful and friendly, made our wee cockerpoo so welcome. Food was excellent. Shower lovely hot rain shower. Room clean and comfortable. Was good to access iplayer on TV as rotten weather so back to base earlier than usual.
No wardrobe, only draws and 2 coat hangers on the back of the door. Heating wasn't working but we had 2 plug in heaters so not cold. Large cruise ship pulled up right in front of our window for a day ( See photo) . Not the fault of the hotel clearly but wasn't great.

We were made to feel very welcome even when we arrived early. We had a delicious evening meal although we didn’t need so many chips. It was perfectly situated for us to visit family
Think it needs to be clearer that the rooms are not all in one building. It made it slightly more challenging but a novelty. Pillows were a bit flat. I needed all 4 to get comfortable

Our room was very spacious with a couch and bay windows, staff were nice, restaurant was convenient, included breakfast was good quality.
Only downside was actually our fault so hotel can't be blamed, we didn't see that the bathroom wasn't en suite, so it simply wasn't what we were expecting, but future guests should pay attention and not assume, like we did, that because it's a hotel the bathrooms will automatically be en suite.

Our room was small but it was a late booking. Seagulls were a bit noisy but beside a port. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Staff helpful and friendly. Drinks a bit pricy.
See above all in all positive outweigh negative would stay again.

Brilliant find. Friendly and efficient service, very good food and drink, Especially Malt choices. Good atmosphere, nice lounge area and met some great guests. Easy to park. Good shower and wifi access. Quiet night and comfortable bed. I had small room 3 with sliding door but worked for me and it was nicely decorated. No where for me to easily work at a desk in the room but could have gone down to the lounge. Great value for money and want to return with my wife one day
Only the view from the front but it is working dock with full size cruise ships visiting so what would you expect?
