Everything about this place was wonderful. It's a beautiful apartment in a beautiful location. Their are animals on the grounds including miniature ponies pigs goats chickens rabbits. There is a tyre swing just up the hill from the apartment around to the front of the house. We were all adults but this would be an amazing place for children. There are steep steps to the twin bedroom My adult children loved having their own floor with an en suite. They met the owners as they arrived before me and said they were really nice and they chatted about cars. The whole place is stylishly decorated. I would love to come back.

WE liked the fact we had the whole section of the servants Quarters. The bed was comfy, the house is situated in beautiful surroundings with sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits, ducks, chickens and ponies in the grounds. All of which can be looked at, with signs not to feed. There was plenty of cutlery and crockery for us both, with washing up liquid, bowl and clothes, and a tea towel. The bathroom was a suitable size with toilet roll, towels and body/hand/hair wash. The water was hot when we needed it, and the room was warm, there was a heater which was turned on in the hall way/entrance which was enough for us. There was a stand alone heater in our double room along with a radiator. There is not a wardrobe with doors, but there is hanging space and plenty of hangers. The windows have blinds rather than curtains. The location is quiet, and we found it very restful. We organised breakfast for 9.30, the latest available, and for £5.00 each we had delivered a small box of cereal, a yoghurt, milk, a warm croissant, jam and a packet of biscuits each, very well worth it. It was delivered by our hosts which was lovely, as we were there two nights we got to meet both our hosts. On the right side of the bed there is no where to place items, but we moved the small table across and put it there, but be aware that the door could knock this.

It's difficult to think of anything that could be improved, maybe bigger towels, they were adequate, but really I am struggling to find anything we didn't like.

A very nice house that was equipped with two bathrooms with showers for both me and my colleague, a great shampoo and soup choice, I found the beds to be comfortable and the house was very clean. Nice little kitchen too.

There was a very sensitive fire alarm outside out kitchen that went off every time we cooked which only the owners could here so we disturbed them a lot which was a shame. My colleague is younger and his complaint was that his TV was a bit small but that's kids for you.

The house was very clean and well presented. It was easy to find and parking was perfect. The beds were comfy and both bedrooms are en suite.

The kitchen was adequate but extra cups and glasses would be beneficial . There was no tea towels so after washing up we couldn’t dry and put things away. If a family were staying the only seating area is around the kitchen table.

Great location, clean and very well presented property with the farm animals being a great feature to our children’s stay! Amazing customer service and the Breakfast hamper was great value for money

The only thing it lacked was a lounge but was still manageable.

Great property everything we needed, this is a lovely place great for everyone inc kids, the house has amazing history and they also have fantastic glamming on site, lovely friendly owners we will be back

Gorgeous little farm out back with friendly goats perfect for families, great location off the A9 so very easy to travel up the coast or out west.

Lovely location and very quiet. Property was compact but had everything we needed for 1 night stay.

We missed that there was no lounge in the description, so that was a bit odd. No communal relaxing space would limit this to only 1 or 2 nights from our perspective. This isn't a criticism, just an observation! As two couples travelling together, was a bit of a challenge!

Area was really good plenty to do for the children,not far from Invergordon,easy access to the A9,for outward journeys.

Could do with somewhere to sit other than the kitchen.bedside lights would be a nice touch.

Very peaceful location. Breakfast was excellent. Play park for the kids was a great bonus. The host was very polite and welcoming, he appreciated the business and communication was excellent throughout the process.
