Great motel, close to city, convenient access (which is also a negative, see below). Very friendly staff, very clean & tidy, it's a budget motel but very much at the top end of what you can expect for the price, excellent shower.

Road noise, as it's on a very busy intersection, the road noise was quite intrusive, maybe because it was wet & the locals seem to think spinning wheels with screaming engines at all hours of the night is a great past-time ! I don't like to be negative about such a great place & friendly people, but my wife hardly slept at all due to the noise, I was fine being quite deaf, so have to make your own decision, if very light sleeper, I would suggest elsewhere may be more restful. Apart from that, top notch place.

Clean, comfortable and cozy. The room was spacious and clean and had everything that we needed. The beds were comfortable and the AC kept us at the perfect temperature. It was also great that the windows opened for fresh air when we weren't using the AC. Coffee, tea, toaster, microwave etc, and a good shower. We only stayed one night but it would be a great budget accommodation for longer stays. Would recommend.

It was a bit of walk to the central area but we knew that in advance so it wasn't a big issue.

Electric blankets on double beds only would have been ideal to have on single as well. Overall experience was nice clean and customer service was exceptional

Better ventilation in bathroom. To cold to open window in bathroom for ventilation. Condensation pools in bathroom. Hazard to those not steady on feet. Anyone can easily slip

The support that Peter gave us from confirming our booking allowing us to go in early.We got lost due to not able to follow directions on Google map as there were too many highways and byways confusing. So we rang Peter and he guided us from where we were lost which coincidentally only took 5 minutes to get there considering we had been going wrong directions for last hour.When we arrived we were in awe. 1 bedroom cottage filled with all comforts of home but more.an amazing back yard scenery from patio. Open doubledoors lovely simple garden. The home was heated up to warm temperatures. Breakfast wow. We are regular travelers and yes we stay at motels and we also have regular places we stay at but we have never experienced what we had for one night at Annie's B&B. Thank you so much Peter for your amazing hospitality it's sad we didn't get to meet your wife Annie Please accept our gratitude for your amazing place we will definitely return when opportunity arises again.Thank you and God Bless you both a.nd your Team

There was lots of space in the room, and even the bathroom had lots of space. It was clean, with comfy beds, couches and a table, and the wifi worked well. There was a heat pump and enough outlets for all five of us to charge our phones, and a good amount of parking available.

It would've been good to have a hair dryer in the room.

Extremely clean. Very comfortable. Very good location. Close to our relative and to town. Our choice of motel now when visiting Wanganui.

The entrance can be tricky if the traffic is busy as it is just after the corner. Could be easy to miss the entrance if you did not know where it was. Otherwise no problems at all. Why we keep coming back.

It would have been easier to have a basin and tap to fill the kettle near the kitchen area where all the cupboards were. I did like the shower pressure,and appreciated access to the wifi. Thankful for the tea,coffee and hot chocolate.

Some shampoo and soap and also a soap rack in the shower.

Amazingly helpful staff. This place is my go to when I visit Whanganui. Very reasonably priced, comfortable and clean room. Bed was super comfy and excellent hot water and pressure in the shower. It has always been quiet when I have visited and a great location!

Aircon

Aircon automatically turned on to heat at about 6am. I had to get up, light on, and turn it back to cooling. Loud guests returning at 2 in the morning shouting across the carpark. Not a fault of the motel as such but an indication that the windows are single glazed and don't muffle any sound.

Spacious room, comfortable bed, full kitchen with a proper oven and aircon

The whole place is very dated, and could have done with a couple of extras like a coffee plunger, but overall, it was an excellent stay for the price
