The staff makes this hotel a 5 star hotel for me! The friendliest and most welcoming people... making sure we knew everything about their facility, the breakfast, the vending areas. I do not get this from hotels that cost a lot more and have a larger brand name. I would stay here every time if there were vacancies! No question!

I dont like that they are already booked for the football games and I have to call in to make graduation reservations for next year... haha... seriously, i wish I could just book my entire family to stay here and be done! But I understand others also need to book and fair is fair... so you cannot go wrong staying here!

Rooms were nice and clean. Muffins were good quality. Staff was friendly.

The AC/heating unit was very noisy. Elevator and the adjoining area felt ancient and cluttered. Breakfast could be better by adding some veggies to the egg and roast potatoes. Biscuit and gravy were unnecessary and not liked by general audience. It would be great if the airport transfers are provided on an extended schedule instead of just 9 to 3 pm Mon to Fri

Instantly greeted with hospitality. Popcorn and lemonade was a hit for my boys upon arrival. Dog bones and extra pets for my dog and no extra fee for the dog to stay! Incredibly nice dog run with perfect grass and cotton candy sunset. Pool was great and towels too!You could tell everyone including the housekeeping enjoyed working here. A rarity among chain hotels! Thanks for your hard work!!

The carpets could be replaced and a little fresh paint in the bathrooms, but I understand that it’s pet friendly and the carpets take a beating!

Easy in/out, very nice and professional employees! Learned you allow dog(s) 👍although we did not have ours with us that’s important to us and we’ll keep in mind for future visits to VT. Nice area to take them out, secluded and safe away from the road. TY for thick, nice towels and bedding. While the rooms are dated and the repair spots visible on the ceiling in the bathroom, the thicker towels, bedding, incredibly clean room made the difference for the $300+ price point for a Comfort Inn. TY!

The air unit was very loud but temperature stayed comfortable.

Location and how clean it was .. the staff were 5 star ! Everyone there from person answering phone to lady cleaning the lobby super friendly and all great host asking always if there was anything else they could do . I have never been anywhere on travel where the WHOLE staff was so thoughtful :) In todays society this is a rare find . I will definitely be back ..

Some cosmetic things could be fixed . Our room had water stain on ceiling and the shower head was old and barely had water pressure .

This property was clean and comfortable. They are welcoming of pets and have a area to walk your pets . Poop bags included. We stayed one night.

At check in I think it was the first thing stated was you break you pay. And they are smoke free. This was stated several times. I finally said that’s great I don’t smoke. I understand policies. And they want you to understand.

Super friendly staff. This hotel has the only pool in the area. Pretty decent breakfast. Clean room. Very accommodating regarding early check-in, roll away beds, and extra towels. Like I said EXTRA friendly staff, and not just one or two, like EVERYONE we encountered was kind, polite and seemed happy to be there. You don't really see that much anymore.

Shower curtains don't stay closed, they slide down the rod. Hotel Laundry directly across from the elevators near the lobby. Gets super hot in that area, and you can't avoid it. Just basically weird placement. Pool needs a good scrub.

We were there for VT graduation, which means max occupancy and max price. The hotel handled this surge exceptionally well. Staffing was adequate, service never suffered, housekeeping was solid (we got the extra towels we needed promptly with four in our room), breakfast area was well provisioned and delicious. Hotel is pet friendly with a large, well kept grassy area just outside the rear door with provided waste baggies. The beds were comfy and room/bath very nice, though just a basic hotel room size.I would definitely stay here with my family and dog at regular rates.

For some reason my Choice Rewards points were not available for this stay because I used Booking.com. This was a real disappointment because at the premium price we paid due to graduation timing this would have given me a lot of Choice Reward points! That was definitely a gotcha.

After a harrowing experience at the Downtown Inn in Asheville, NC, we traveled to Blacksburg, VA and this lovely place. The staff who greeted us were friendly and engaging and made us feel welcome immediately. Such a difference and so refreshing. The breakfast was outstanding. The pool was perfectly heated and lovely.
