It was a lovely property. We stayed for 3 nights whilst we visited the island. The room was a good size and the bed was comfy. It ‘s exactly like the pictures and really beautiful. We also got some juice and cookies when we arrived home one night. We ordered the pancakes for breakfast and they were lovely. They delivered them to your seating area at the time you wanted. The staff were really friendly and would do anything to help. We would stay again but only for 1 or 2 nights.

Ever night the power went off (this is common on the island) so the generator kicked in. It’s not an issue if you sleep through anything but it was a bit loud. When we booked we didn’t realise it didn’t have warm water. This wasn’t an issue for 1/2 nights but after the 2nd night we wanted a warm shower. This wasn’t our fault not the properties but they should of made it clearer when booking

Ants everywhere in the bed, ridiculously overpriced for a house in some trees, stairs were a safety hazard l, washing was £20 you could get it cheaper in the western world

The hotel itself is super cute. Very green, a lot of love and details. It's a special and nice concept. The design is nice. Feels like sitting in the jungle. Attention to detail. The outdoor shower is great.

I would not stay longer than 2 night because it's just uncomfortable. Bathrooms are downstairs. The bed is very small and not great to sleep in for 2 people. The AC's need to be urgently replaced. They don't really work, neither the temperature and the noise is crazy loud (the whole hut is basically shaking). I could not sleep with this AC running.

Beautiful treehouses, clean and comfortable and something a bit different! All of the lush plants makes it feel quiet and secluded. Outdoor bathroom is really nice Breakfast was delicious and good value for money. Able to rent motorbikes cheaply and staff were very attentive and helpful. Welcome snacks and drinks were an added bonus! Location is better than we thought - a short 5min drive to the nicer side of San Juan and close enough to bars and restaurants that if you needed to walk you can.

We couldn't manage to get hot water in our shower - we didn't try too hard and jt was nice given the hot weather!

We loved our stay at Mandala. The staff are very kind and helpful. The treehouse is beautiful and a nice mix of comfort and nature (we definitely appreciate the AC). Didn’t mind the bathroom being downstairs but it would be difficult for someone with bad knees.

The location was a little difficult for us to maneuver, it was ever so slightly too far from restaurants for us but worked out just fine. We are used to walking. If you ride a scooter this would be no issue at all, but we were unable to rent as we had no prior experience (completely understand that safety regulation). It’s about 9 min walk to the closest restaurant and 15-20min to 3 others.

We had the Villa, which was a huge and private house with own garden and Its own Gate. So I dont know about the other rooms, but this was great. Really nice build with outdoor bathroom, aircon and lots of space. We had our breakfast on our terrasse, which was nice. Breakfast is ok, not so many choices but not to complain. We also got two scooter in the acommodation and wifi was strong. The location is not central central, but Its close to one of the best beaches and with a scooter its fine. Other people wrote about staff, I can confirm It is a little less personal then all my other stays in 3 months asia, but still friendly and very helpfull if needed.

There was no dishes, but a a big kitchen. We did not need anything, but I wanted to mention It.

We absolutely loved this wonderful place! The treehouses were super cute, we loved the outside shower, the whole experience was very special. We rented a motorbike from the property and didn’t have any issues with it - it’s definitely a good idea to have a motorbike to explore the amazing island. We ordered a breakfast on our last morning and it was delivered to our room - super delicious! Also, we were surprised with some local snacks and juices every day - we really enjoyed that. Overall, magical place, perfect location to relax and still be able to experience the island life. Thank you!

Honestly, everything is too minor to even mention. We had a great time!

Amazing concept - beautifully executed treehouses with open-air bathroom on the ground floor, bedroom with balcony on the first floor, and a porch with a swing - quite new and well-maintained. Very friendly staff helping to organize trips, in-house laundry available, breakfast is served on the porch - loved it here!

Location is a bit random; only one restaurant in walking distance, and a bit far to the beach - with a scooter everything is easily reachable though!

Beautiful tree house, clean and well maintained. Welcoming staff, lovely snacks were provided on check-in and return to the accommodation in the evenings. You can rent a scooter from the property or the staff will organise a tricycle for your transportation, you will need transport to get to all attractions.

No relaxation area outside of your bedroom and table downstairs, however this is a minor detail.

Property is absolutely stunning, quiet, romantic, clean, well maintained. The staff are so wonderful, Faye was extremely helpful and friendly. We booked motorcycles and tuktuk rides through them without an issue. There’s lovely personal touches such as welcome snack and drink. The breakfast is great, as is the French press coffee. The outdoor shower is gorgeous. Can’t say enough good things. There’s a super adorable kitty that comes around too. The location is just a bit off the main area, you need a bike for sure.
