Everything! Staff was exceptionally helpful! Made reservations for us, gave recommendations, coordinated laundry, observant on any needs we had, and so friendly! The breeze from the ocean on the terrace was amazing. Bus stop block away, beach across the street, cafes, and the road on front is pedestrians only so great for runners, walkers, and bikes.

Parking if you have a car. It is a popular beach, and so if you want quiet, then go somewhere else after school lets out for vacation. No issues, just busy until late with singing, fireworks, and cheering. Happy vive. No trouble sleeping, though.

The kindest, most polite, friendly and thoughtful staff. The room was pristine, the bed amazingly comfortable. Gorgeous, fresh white sheets. The bathroom was modern and showers were hot. I cannot rate this place high enough. Breakfast was tasty, I loved the scrambled eggs and also the fresh, ‘natural’ fruit juice. The hotel is next to the beach with a huge relaxing walkway separating the hotel from the beach. No worries about cars. Such a wonderful way to say goodbye to this beautiful island, Sardinia. The property was a lovely converted villa on the sea front at Poetto, opposite the beach. We would have ideally loved a balcony, but were delighted to find the many courtyard lounging area that were free for guests to use. We made great use out of this and enjoyed a glass of wine together before heading out for dinner each evening. The rooms were well appointed, and cleaned daily. The hotel was also able to organise our airport transfers for which we were very grateful.

Although there are several lounging areas, it is a shame every room does not have its own outside space. We missed not having a pool, although we did use the roof terrace when the beach was too windy.

Very helpful staff. Good location, with beach and cafes within walking distance. Special thank you to staff Adele who helped arrange tours at the last minute - I strongly recommend the day tour by Nicola to ancient ruins and National Park. While taxis don’t normally come to this part of town, there’s a bus stop within walking distance. Also, the hotel can arrange airport pickup and drop off so let them know if you want this.

WE LOVED THIS PLACE! We were travelling Italy for our honeymoon and stopped here outside the city for final relaxation, and relaxing it was! We booked the apartment for extra space and it was huge, lots of storage and a kitchenette (no oven). Housekeeping was fantastic and cleaned so thoroughly and even tidied up for us, thank-you so much. The location is right on the beach, it’s so quiet due to the road being almost completely pedestrianised and such a contrast to the noisy cities. We slept so well and the bed was comfier than my own at home with fantastic pillows. We had an early flight in and Paula on reception was a dream and had our room ready early and gave us towels to enjoy the beach whilst we waited. The hotel is decorated in a rustic seaside theme and is so relaxing warming, we will definitely be returning!

The shower could do with being updated as the tray filled up with water and drained slowly and water leaked from the shower head. A kettle and some tea would have been lovely.

In the first place PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!! Service was awesome! The receptionists were really helpful and kind, the waiter was so friendly and all dishes taste perfecto, the smile was all around :*, the clean ladies were lovely, near to everywhere...to church, to ice cream, to cafes, to restaurants and last but not least WATER of the sea!!!!!

Beautiful, well-maintained hotel right on Poetto Beach in Caligiari. Spacious rooms, great air conditioning, nice terrace with view of the ocean, and always pleasant and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Almost like a home but with all the services of a hotel. Every member of the staff was outstanding and went out of their way with friendly, helpful service always with a smile. Right across the street from the lovely Poetto Beach. The hotel offered beach umbrellas, beach towels. Top notch in all respects. Not luxury exactly but extremely nice and very comfortable - with spacious room and bath. Highly recommend.

We are very happy we could spend part of our holiday at the Hotel La Villa Del Mare. It has a great location at the Poetto beach, restaurants and amazing ice cream are near by. Rooms are as cozy as the hotel itself with orientation to details, design is beautiful - it´s really La Villa del Mare :-). You can borrow an umbrella and towels for the beach here, what can be very useful for many guests. What is more, people here (the staff) were very nice and caring. But I have to say we met only nice people in Cagliari what made our stay here even more special :-) Thank you :)

The staff was great breakfast was good and the hotel was clean. Perfect location to visit the beautiful beaches of Villasimius and the beaches on the east coast. If you dont want to travel you have poetto beach which is just fine

The staff, Viktorija and Adella, are amazing people. They were very welcoming when we arrived and during our entire stay. The location was great - right across the street from the beach and close to lots of restaurants.
