The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. We also really appreciated the info card that was shared with us in the room, it helped us to get acquainted with some of the restaurants, malls and attractions nearby. Lastly, we truly enjoyed getting to interact with some of the other guests and staff that were staying at Edaala Comfort as well, like Esther. Esther was one of the staff members who prepared our breakfast most days. She is an absolute sweetheart and made some really good eggs and bacon!

Since Edaala Comfort is a family home, we were really hoping to know more about the family and how Edaala Comfort came to be. It would've been a nice personal touch.

We stayed 2 days at the beginning of our trip and liked it so much that we stayed another two days at the end of our trip as well. The house is beautiful surrounded by a nice garden, with lots of birds around. The staff is smiling, super helpful and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, all beds are with mosquito nets. Breakfast is diverse and super nice. The neighborhood is very green, calm with large houses. About 15-20 min walking there is the Hardy-Post mall with restaurants, a supermarket, and an ATM! We definitely recommend it!

The house is a bit far from shops or restaurants within walking distance. The house can be a bit difficult to find by food delivery companies (Ubereats/Glovo) or Uber cars.

We arrived at the early morning and we could have our breakfast before going to sleep. The hosts were really nice and the room was really comfortable. Besides, there is a nice garden if you want to spend some time reading or just chilling. The area was nice and safe so we could walk from here until the Giraffe Center (40min, one way). Overall, we had a great experience.

The location in Google maps is not showing the right directions to get there so the taxi driver had to call the host several times on our way. Besides, we think the bath's drainpipe needs a review, as it was not working properly.

Everything was great; I recommend staying with them if you go to Nairobi. We had a great time at Jane and Bernard Edaala Comfort. Jane and Bernard were very accommodating right away when I sent various messages and questions, and once we arrived in Nairobi, they helped us with everything. The house and garden were lovely and spotless. The rooms and bathrooms were very well-organised, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast prepared by Jane and her assistant was excellent and plentiful. All was freshly made and delicious. They organised a private taxi from and to the airport and waited for our arrival early in the morning; they also suggested what to do in the Karen area for the little time we would have spent in Nairobi and recommended excellent restaurants in the area. You can get around well with Uber from the house. We had time to walk to the Giraffe Centre and go to some restaurants that Jane recommended. If I ever return to Nairobi, we will definitely stay with them. Thank you, Jane, Bernard and your assistants, for your hospitality.

Excellent location (safe, close to tourist sites), wonderful staff that were very welcoming, great daily breakfast, and our room was peaceful with nice touches (sunscreen and bug spray, kettle, mosquito net). Great value for the price!! It was one of our favourite stays during our trip.

It could get noisy at night with the sounds of animals outside, but it didn't bother us. Ubers had trouble finding the place, but we had issues with that all around Nairobi.

Even if can be hard to find, the place is really nice with a beautiful garden and it's all surrounded by green. Jane was very kind and helpful even if we had a very late check in (4.30am) since the flight was late and we wasted lot of time at the passport check. The breakfast was very tasty and complete, and she made it out of the breakfast time just for us so we were able to sleep in a bit after the late arrival. I really appreciated her kindness, flexibility and availability toward us.

We loved the quiet oasis & calm sanctuary this provided for our first couple of nights in Nairobi. The bird life in the gardens is incredible. The staff were amazing & we were so happy to see the gates open for us when we arrived very late after a long flight. No fuss; just a welcome & straight to bed.

It's a little remote, but we did know that from the reviews. However the Uber taxis are cheap & quick so it wasn't a problem at all.

Located in a peaceful and safe area of Karen. Amazing, lovely and helpful staff. You feel like at home very quickly. Dogs are guarding the property at night so you can sleep tight. Owners helped us get a trusted cab to get to the airport. In a walking distance there is a shopping center and Whistle Spot Grill where you can have great food and few drinks. 100% recommend. If I am ever again in Nairobi, I will stay in Edaala Comfort! Thank you for your hospitality! ❤️

All was great!

The location was excellent and in a very posh location. You get a feeling of staying in a clean, green and totally raw nature environment. Roads are safe and a perfect location for a good morning walks. There is a nature trail walk which is good for couples or family just 3 to 5 kms away and Uber can take you there. Ithe property it self was well managed with lots of greenery and sitting area outside to njoy the climate and relax. If you want to chill out, relax in natural silence this is the right place.

We had a great stay! Everything about it was excellent. It was in a quiet, safe and convenient neighborhood. There was plenty of room for our group of 14 on this beautiful property. The breakfast was very good. The hosts were friendly and helpful. I could go on and on ....

The only complaint I have is that we couldn't stay longer!
