The decor is very chic. The rooms are vast and comfortable with great amenities and beautiful bed linens and dressing gowns. The staff are very sweet and attentive, sometimes a little too attentive. The views are stunning. A short Tuk Tuk ride from Galle and other sites. The pool area is great.

The food was ok - but very expensive compared to other hotels and restaurants and the quality didn’t reflect the price. We found much better outside the hotel. Same goes for cocktails … the ones we tried were very bland. Not the fault of the hotel but there was a man chain smoking Cuban cigars in the pool all day while we were there. It was very off-putting, and it would be great if there was a. I smoking rule in the swimming pool. Overall the good far outweighs the areas for improvement.

Staff were fantastic! The location was everything we wanted: a beautiful pool and beach a few steps away! Our room was really spacious, clean and comfortable and had a great view of the pool and beach - as do all the rooms. The food was incredible. So wonderful in fact, that we dined at the hotel every evening, as well as enjoying the fantastic breakfast options each morning.

KK beach is a truly stunning 5-star hotel and one of the most beautiful we have stayed in in South Asia. It sits by breathtaking and secluded beaches and offers immaculate, comfortable beds and rooms, with a beautiful view from the room’s balcony. The rooms are 100% clean and the hotel has top-notch breakfast and dining. Every detail, from the relaxing atmosphere, great, large and clean pool to the warm and dedicated staff, created a perfect stay. We could not be more happy with our stay!

Very close to the beach which is nice to walk down. Lovely pool and sun bed area. Rooms are big and comfortable. We rented a moped for the few days we we’re there which was fun to explore the area. It is only about 20 minutes from Galle fort where we spent 2 lovely evenings! We went to KK beach sister hotel Kahanda Kanda for breakfast which was stunning and a lovely outing.

Unfortunately when we were there the sea swimming was not great as strong currents and big waves. The restaurant did not have much of an atmosphere and was often very quiet.

Nice ambiance, welcoming friendly arrival, had more of a beach club feel, which was nice. Good food in restaurant Friendly helpful staff in all departments Nice pool area which is well maintained and kept very clean. Right on the ocean and good stretch of sand right along bay.

Quite family oriented so expect kids in pool playing with balls etc

We booked through booking.com at 7pm by 7.45pm we were walking in the door and were met by the manager and staff to welcome us and help with our luggage. They were expecting us and the welcome was wonderful. Warm, friendly and helpful. A relief after we had had to leave an Airbnb due to security problems Kk was such a relief to arrive at.

Super peaceful, with the most amazing view of the sea from the rooms and poolside area. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, especially Kasun who looked after us all day. The design of the rooms and property is beautiful.

The only thing I can think of - the hairdryer in the room wasn’t great.

We loved our stay at KK beach and it was the perfect end to our trip. The view from the room was incredible and the hotel is located on a beautiful long quiet beach. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, especially the guys who worked by the pool - constantly making sure we had ice cold water which was really appreciated. All the food we ate was delicious. We went to Galle Fort on evening and it was a quick 20 minute tuktuk away. On our last day they allowed for a late check out! Highly recommend this hotel!

We were switched at short notice to stay at the sister hotel Kahanda Kanda…this was initially a disappointment as we had planned on being by the beach but Kahanda Kanda is actually a nicer hotel! We visited KK beach for a day…a much more ‘family oriented’ hotel.

Not too much around the hotel itself, but if you’re happy to have a nice hotel and commute a bit it’s a great spot. Alcohol at hotel also a bit expensive in comparison to what’s available out side the hotel
