The place was serene, beautiful, and just homely, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The staff were incredibly friendly, always ready with a smile and eager to assist with any needs or questions. The entire establishment was spotlessly clean, reflecting a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene that was very reassuring. I would have wished to stay longer and soak in more of the tranquil atmosphere, but unfortunately, I had other commitments that required my attention. I really loved everything about the place. The room decor was tastefully done, adding a touch of elegance and comfort to the stay. The living room, with its cozy ambiance, was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Everything about DeerPark was simply delightful. It was evident that a lot of thought had gone into the design and upkeep of the property. Its well-thought-out design and meticulous attention to detail gave a sense that those behind it are not only excellent in what they do but also passionate about creating a memorable experience for their guests. From the smallest details to the overall atmosphere, DeerPark exuded a charm that left a lasting impression on me.

The place is great! I would recommend small additions like providing a kettle, tea bags, and sugar, especially given the chilly weather.These would greatly enhance the overall experience for guests during the cold season.

What a lovely, relaxing place to stay when visiting Nairobi! Lovely rooms in a beautiful setting - we so enjoyed eating breakfast out on the lawn under the umbrellas, and sitting out in the garden at any time of the day. The green, the shade and the gentle breeze make for a space that is such a respite from the hotter dustiness of the rest of city. So relaxing. But the real gem of this place is the people. They have assembled such a welcoming, professional and all-around excellent team - you will be so well looked after, nothing will be too much trouble and you will not want to leave. We stayed for 9 days in two different comfortable rooms. Good wifi, linen, toiletries, no noise from other guests, space for working too. Plenty of television channels available - I especially appreciated the availability of plenty of sports channels, including coverage of the cricket match I most wanted to keep in touch with! As a breakfast fan, I loved sitting outdoors each morning for a leisurely breakfast. If you need to leave very very early to go animal watching or “on safari”, there will be a packed breakfast and coffee waiting for you. And in the evening, if you don’t feel like venturing out again, you can have your dinner cooked for you too. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful, and outside the gates you are just a short walk from several shopping areas. The nearest, Valley Arcade, is only 10 minutes walk, and has a Carrefour, pharmacy, and the two best cafe chains - Java House and Artcaffé - among other things. We walked there most days. Antonina will arrange any transport you need, but we found the Bolt (local version of Uber) great and cheap. If we walked too far, we could get a Bolt back again; they always came within minutes. We felt safe everywhere we went; the only safety issue we experienced was in areas without proper footpaths and hectic traffic. What a fantastic experience all around this visit has been. Deerpark was the perfect place to stay for me during my visit to Nairobi. I was there with a colleague, and we had a very busy schedule during the days. Coming back to Deerpark in the evenings was a balm! The lush garden, the friendly hellos from everyone on the staff, the quiet and the lovely house all contributed to making me feel relaxed and safe. Our every need was catered for by the handful of staff, from remembering our breakfast preferences to helping with the booking of transport, and being able to order a variety of food from the menu. The atmosphere was relaxed, yet caring. The place is small, and to me that is infinetely preferable to chain luxury hotels, and at a fraction of the price, too. I will be sure to stay there again if I come to Nairobi.

My stay at Deerpark was excellent, at all levels. 1. The Room was very clean and well-designed. The hotel in general is well-decorated with Martha Steward's touch. 2. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They make you feel like you are at home at all times. From the moment you arrive until you leave. 3. The food is just simply delicious and very tasty and fresh. Compare to other very good restaurants in Nairobi or elsewhere. 4. And last but not least, their garden is impeccable. A very good place to enjoy your meal and relax. Overall, at Deerpark stay, is home away from home. Definitely would recommend it to anyone who enjoys good food and a quiet place that feels like home.

The property is beautiful, the rooms very comfortable, and the staff are amazing! From the moment we were greeted on arrival by Marina, we felt like we were visiting a favourite relative's home. We stayed two nights at Deer Park Luxury Stays after a fairly hectic 18-day safari (and prior to flying home to Australia) ... so rest and relaxation was on our agenda - and we certainly achieved rest, relaxation and recovery! Nothing really :) The ringing of the front gate in the middle of the night was a little abrupt!

A beautiful and calm oasis to escape from Nairobi’s craziness in a safe neighborhood. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. Antonina and Wilson took best care of us and left us with no wish unfulfilled. We even got a free room upgrade just to make us feel more at home. We ate there for lunch two times and it also very good !

This is a hotel I would highly recommend, and return to each time I come to Nairobi. This property is in a nice, gated community, and is very safe. It is conveniently located near shopping and other amenities. Uber is quick and easy, and will take you where you need to go. This is a boutique hotel, in the middle of a residential neighborhood. The hotel staff are very friendly and attentive, and greet you each day with a smile. They call you by name, and go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable and memorable. Understandably, if you are on business and you need to stay in the business district, then this hotel might not fit your agenda, but if you’re on holiday, and want a small and intimate hotel that cater to you, then this is your hotel. You won’t be disappointed.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived late and they were happy to show us to our room before serving us drinks by the pool. The room was very clean and comfortable. Really liked having the terrace to sit out. The gardens are well kept and you can order drinks and food. Lunch was very good, portions were large. I would highly recommend staying here.

The evening meal, which we ordered well in advance, was wrong when it came and not enjoyable. We did mention this but as everything it freshly made I was told I could wait for it to be redone, at least 40 minutes or stay with the meal served. I ate the over cooked beef but left everything else. Ordered beef, medium, with mash and vegetables and got well cooked beef with chips and coleslaw. I was still charged for the meal. I would not eat at the hotel on an evening.

Deerpark was an amazing place to stay for our first few nights in Kenya. The staff were absolutely lovely - Antonina gets a special mention - and helped make our stay fantastic. The accommodation itself was great and the gardens were such a nice point of difference to other hotels. The hotel is in a gated neighbourhood and we went for walks both nearby and out to a local shopping centre, feeling completely safe. Meals were great, our son says he would go back just to have the steak sandwich again.

This was an amazing stay for me and my family. The hotel is in a quiet, tranquil location, where we found rest after some serious travelling within the country. The rooms are clean and well maintained, within a great neighbourhood that is close to lots of amenities and activities. If it is not already the case, this establishment should be VERY proud of their staff. They are some of the most attentive, proactive professionals I have ever come across during my travels. The housekeeper, the chefs, the waitstaff and their supervisor Antonina were just great. They very proactively addressed our needs, going above and beyond to accommodate us (cleaning our shoes, making us packed lunches when we needed to leave early, cooking us traditional dishes off menu, offering my father in law gardening lessons 😂…). They also have a very good chef whose food is ALWAYS good. They even made a big deal about our last evening, with Antonina staying beyond end of her shift to ensure our last night at the establishment was memorable. Definitely coming back to this place.
