The Riverview Inn is situated on the banks of the Crocodile River, providing an excellent opportunity to view the animals in the Kruger National Park. It's a mere 10 minute drive to the Malelane Entrance Gate. Sindile, who manages the River View Inn, is kind and helpful. He goes out of his way to make guests feel welcome. We also had the pleasure of meeting, and chatting to, Jacques, the owner of the Inn. Parking is secure and free of charge We wouldn't hesitate to book at this accommodation again and would certainly recommend it to friends and family

Dinners and breakfasts have room for improvement. We therefore chose to take our meals elsewhere Suggestion: Please consider installing screen doors to the balcony. The bathrooms also need attention to ensure that mould doesn't increase.

Good value for the price, secure parking, rooms spacious with modern bathroom, beds firm and comfortable. Smart TV with open view but we tend not to watch TV when on a break. Bar fridge and you are allowed your own drinks. Stayed on the second floor and with the balcony doors open you could view the river, hippos, elephant, waterbuck, impala, tranquil flowing of the river. Restaurant on site with limited items on the menu but the portions we were served were decent and very tasty, lunch we ordered toasted sandwiches and they even made my wife a sandwich which was not on the menu. Beautiful pool and deck area, perfect to cool down. Staff are very friendly and helpfull and will carry your luggage to your room if asked. Malelane gate 13 minutes drive and perfect entry into the Kruger.

The Riverview Inn hotel was amazing. The location is perfect and you are right by the Kruger gate. You get a beautiful view of Crocodile River from your hotel room and the observation deck. The pool is right on the deck as well as the eating area. The food was great, we had both breakfast and dinner. They accommodated our large group with ease and made it a very intimate and fun experience. The rooms are super - bathroom and shower was the nicest of our 7 different hotels we stayed at in South Africa.

The hotel location is great. It is close to supermarkets, garage, few restaurants and just 10-15 min drive to Malelane kruger Gate. There is a great view of the crocodile river, while you are at the hotel restaurant. The room was spacious, had an aircon which came in handy. The hospitality was great, the staff was friendly, and even offered blankets while we were sitting near the restaurant

There was a smell coming from the bathroom pipes, but this didn't bother us that much to dislike the place. Would have loved if the rooms had a microwave to warm food.

Clean, comfortable, warm and safe. The view across the Crocodile river is magnificent. We saw numerous animals, including a large herd of Elephants of all sizes that remained for at least five hours. Hippos, warthogs, waterbuck, impala and a large amount of different bird species blessed us with their presence as well, including two fish eagles that sang their song overhead. truly magnificent.

We didnt like leaving to come home.

The view is exactly as per the pics! Beautiful deck and refreshing pool for the increadably hot days! Staff very friendly and accommodating when I needed a hairdryer and iron/ironing board! I even booked 2 extra days. Will definitely be back! Even saw an elephant late afternoon on Saturday and early morning on Sunday

Not massive, but ... .Only the bedlinnen can upgrade to percale/ Egyptian cotton.....( but it was so hot I slept on top of the bedding any ways!

Riverview Inn ticks all the boxes! A hidden gem in Malelane. Excellent service overall. A large deck with wonderful views over the Crocodile River and part of the Kruger National Park. We viewed Hippos in the river and Water Buck on the opposite bank. Excellent value for money. Riverview Inn will be our first choice whenever we stop over in Malelane. My wife and I highly recommend the Riverview Inn.

The fact that we could only spend one night at Riverview Inn.

As the name says: an inn with a (perfect) view on the Crocodile River. We've seen rhino's, water buck, hippo's, and other wild animals on both sides and in the river. What a splendid place to start an/or end your day. The rooms are spacious, and modern, with all facilities you need. The Riverview Inn is located only 10 minutes drive from Malelane Gate to visit Kruger Park. We certainly go back and spend some more time.

Due to the load shedding, there was not always a dessert available in the restaurant. But that is only a minor point and didn't withheld us for havin a great dinner, looking out to the hippo's and rhino's.

we loved this place, every room has a view on the pool/river/Kruger park. when you are on the patio near the pool you have a perfect view on the park and we did see all kind of animals. We also loved the nice pool. They have a restaurant on site and we decided to eat there especially as you can't beat the view and dinner was really great. Our biggest regret was that we only booked one night - as we really loved the location and the facility.

The location was outstanding, with a deck and dining that literally protrudes into the Kruger, on the edge of the Crocodile banks, so game viewing and birding were great. The rooms were spacious and we like the fact that they were on the same level as the pool. Great wifi in the rooms and secure off road parking.

The quality of the food could be improved and perhaps easy additions like burgers and chips and pizzas for kids could be added to the menu.
