The rooms were very large, clean, comfortable and quiet. The facilities and surrounding grounds were beautiful and very easily accessible. The museum and wine-tasting was a very interesting and enjoyable addition to our stay.

The choice at breakfast was a little limited with regards to food but the food that was provided was very good

Comfortable rooms, great location, with a stunning view on the lake. Nice park surrounding the hotel. But first of all, fantastic staff. In spite of us being slightly late for the check in, the receptionist was very helpful and patient. At the breakfast the staff was extremely agreeable as well.

There is no equipment in the rooms to prepare coffee/tea. Insufficient electrical outlets in the room. But those are details...

Overall this place is fantastic, I have stayed here 3 or 4 times, rooms 220-225 are an absolute dream. No sounds whatsoever other than a gentle backdrop of trees rustling and songbirds. Very convenient mosquito net also

I slept in room 105. Street noise will wake you up in the night. You hear every noise from within and without the building. Every footstep in walkways on all 3 floors could be heard, kitchen noises, everything. I checked multiple times if I forgot to close the door because I couldn't believe it, but it WAS closed. Also no mosquito net... the rooms are gorgeous and modern but need constant airing because of nausea inducing adhesives/paint evaporating from the modern material. Anyways, I had multiple wasps amd mosquitos in my room which was to be expected in this region and season. They installed a mosquito net in rooms 220-225, I don't see why they didn't do the same thing on the 1st floor.

The view was nice and the gardens pretty. The breakfast was pleasant enough. The staff were helpful with our complaint.

The room was very overpriced. There was no one at reception when we arrived. There wasn't any access to food /restaurant when we arrived. (7pm) There wasn't a kettle to even make a cup of coffee. All instructions were only in German so we had no idea if what it said. The breakfast staff did not speak any language other than German. My partner and I speak 4 languagesI between us. We cannot be expected to know every language! This hotel is supposed to be in the hospitality industry! We weren't informed of the cooked breakfast options. Steps in shower were dangerous and not signed It was basic. Bed linen had bits in. It reminded me of my university room not a hotel. Room with a shower curtain, a desk and 2 hard chairs for nearly £200 a night!
