Excellent, simple dinner menu. Schweinschnitzel and chips washed down with cold beer. Breakfast really good with an early start as we were off to Italy that day. Cooked bacon, sausage, eggs - cereal to follow, then bread/toast - lots of juice and coffees - perfect start. Parking for 7 euros overnight is only a 5 minute walk and Meersburg was a very pleasant stroll with quaint buildings. Helpful, friendly reception staff with good sense of humour !!

Fantastic breakfast, very helpful staff and willing to assist with any issues, even before my arrival. The hotel is situated in the city center so everything is within walking distance. We would go and stay there again, maybe in not such a warm weather.

We were there for 5 quite warm days (30C) and the room was hot during the night. Even with windows open it was still hot. It woyld be nive to have some sort of airconditioning or other cooling system (even a fan probably).

The location and the breakfast was excellent. The room was fine. We've stayed in Meersburg often, and this hotel was the most family friendly we experienced (special play area for kids!!!).

The bathroom was a bit small. When we checked out, we forgot our son's two small stuffed toys. Despite contacting the hotel immediately, and repeatedly after our departure, they were never recovered.

We had a huge suite all to ourselves! 2 big rooms and the best shower (water pressure and temperature) we encountered in Germany. The suite wasn't fancy; a simple dorm-type thing. But lots of space! Breakfast on the terrace was very pleasant. Great location right in the center of the Old Town. Meersburg is beautiful. The Old and New Castles very interesting!

The only problem we encountered was the young woman at the Reception Desk, who was very helpful, gave us the wrong directions about catching the bus down to the ferry. We waited in the wrong place in the broiling sun for over 30 minutes, until a kindly bus driver going in the opposite direction set us straight.

Location was great. Right at Meersburg center. We were a large group (3 families, 13 people), and the staff was very helpful. Breakfast was really nice with good variety. We loved the Spielzimmer.

The hotel is composed of different buildings, very closed together, but it was not clear to us from the description. It was really not a problem for us.

Room was big enough for all 5. Kids really appreciated the Spielraum in the hotel, next to the reception. Breakfast was good.

The room is really dark. Lights need to be turned on all the time. No possibility to get dinner as it was only for guests with half pension. No possibility to book half pension via booking and no proposal from the hotel after booking. Anyway, we good restaurant in the city (Strandhotel Wilder Mann).

Breakfast was included, a full buffet of choices. Dinner was an optional buffet for 19,50 Euros. There's also a full bar in lobby. Very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is right in the middle of the historic section of town (walk to restaurants, shops, harbor, etc.).

I'd stay there again and it was a very good deal for the price but would have rated it even higher if I could get one English speaking channel on TV (CNN signal too weak), mini coffee maker in room, and some mini toiletries in room would help (my luggage was delayed 24 hrs. by airline).

The hotel's location is excellent. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good and service excellent.

The mattress on the bed and the pillow were a bit soft for my tastes and need, but were okay for a short stay.

Nice location and pretty hotel with amazing playground. Excellent breakfast and afternoon snacks available. The room accommodated 2 friends well with separate rooms and extra beds which are great if you have more people in your party.

Difficult to find parking lot and walk back.

We loved the location. It was easy to find, and close to the main road, restaurants, a grocery store, and the sights of Meersburg. The breakfast was amazing also! Lots of choices.

The car parking is about a 10 minute walk away, and a little hard to find. The room and hallway had a very bad smell. Not sure what it was, but staff seemed shocked when we mentioned it, as if they couldn't smell it...I don't know how that would have been possible.
