This hotel has a fabulous location up the hill overlooking Meersburg and the lake. Its grounds are really lovely with plenty of comfortable seating and lounging areas. We enjoyed chilling in the garden after a day out with a glass of something from the honesty bar before dinner. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. We were lucky to have a little balcony with views over the town and lake.

Nothing. It was really lovely. Being non German speaking however, we didn’t realise and weren’t offered a cooked breakfast during our stay. We only realised that was available when we saw another couple served theirs. Not a big deal though as the breakfast buffet was delicious.

Breakfast was diverse and very good quality. It was served in a nicely decorated salon with a great view to the garden, wineyard and the lake. My room was very quiet and clean. Each room has table and chairs in the deck that is vey nice.

Paying for the parking! Firstly, I booked through booking and 'parking' wsa part of amenities. It was not mentioned that it is payble. While parking lots were avaialbel in the front yard of the hotel, I do not understand why it is payable? I was charged 7€/night and it shoudl have been payed by cash.

Nice room and breakfast. Easy to walk to the town. The town is great! Everything is clean.

Your balcony area is kind of shared and the neighbors didn't turn off their patio lights at night. so it was annoying because I needed my window curtains open to get air as it was a very hot day, but then the light shines in. We booked last minute, and no massage was available at any time. I mainly booked this place for the convenience of a massage during our stopover from a long drive... better check with them first for availabilities.

The accommodations are lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed the pleasant breakfast with a beautiful view. Our welcome was accommodating and thoughtful. We were able to relax and wished we could have stayed longer.

Location was perfect, and the views of the vineyards, lake and town from the room were spectacular! Room was well appointed, and super clean. Breakfast was very good in both the quantity and quality of the offerings. Loved the availability to purchase wine/beer onsite. Would have loved to enjoy the spa, but we didn't have time on this visit. Meersburg is a lovely and charming town. "Adults Only" and no large tour buses arriving daily were very much appreciated features.

In all fairness, the hotel staff and reservation forms guests at every turn that CASH is needed to settle the charges, but in this day and age, this is an inconvenient requirement.

No aircon, so our room was very hot. Also could have had a shelf in the shower for guest comfort.

Cozy atmosphere, great breakfast with good variety. Hotel was within a good walking distance of the old town in Meersburg. Helpful attentive staff.

Hot tub was broken, but we'll be ok haha. Maybe a small refrigerator in the room would be nice.

One feels totally welcome into this boutique like Hotel, it is charming and is very nicely decorated. Breakfast area was very nice with a good selection of foods, buffet style. One can order eggs cooked to order should you wish. The service was excellent and the cafe machiattos were hot and delicious. The view from our room was nice, overlooking the town and lake, we had a small balcony. Nice touch having the robes & slippers in the cupboard. We used them when we went to take a jacuzzi. We enjoyed the gardens and being able to sit in the chairs to smoke a cigar.

I would suggest having ONE portable iron available on request for guests. No facial tissues in the bathroom.

Clean and silence

Too expensive for the type of hotel, far away fron the centre, they want cash payment: dont like it!!! Why not credit cards?? And the double room is too small for the price!!! Also the breakfast could be better: they have a very standard continental breakfast…

Great please to spend a weekend. Room was spacious and well equipped, clean and comfortable.

Breakfast could be more versatile, but all the basics were present. Card payments not accepted, that is very unusual for such top-notch hotel.
