Great medieval decoration. Good shower. Fan in room. Staff at the seehof (just across the way) on booking in were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is at the wilder Man hotel (3 minute walk) and this was excellent, It had sausage,bacon,eggs and a wide range of fruit and veg as well has the continental options. I would stay again.

Blinds or net curtains would be good for lake view rooms as they look out onto the main street. I don't sleep well unless dark, the curtains let light around the top and sides due to the metal curtain rail.

The location is absolutely amazing, the view from the top room shows the Bodensee and an adorable street where all the cafes and restaurants are. The place is perfectly decorated and designed to give a medieval vibe and it was very clean too. Breakfast was also one of the best we’ve had in a while, so good! We will be back, but longer next time!

Parking is a bit awkward, being further away from the hotel, and unloading can be tricky on a small, busy street. We parked down the road and used Easy Park which was closer and cheaper. Stairs are steep and no elevator, but that’s fine with us, more of a heads up if you’re bringing a lot of luggage or have difficulty with stairs.

The room looked to have been recently remodeled and was very clean. It had all the amenities you would want and even some you didn't need (music in the bathroom)😀 The breakfast was at a restaurant and you could walk or take a shuttle on a golf cart. It was a great breakfast. The hotel is very quirky with a Middle Ages theme and at first we wondered if we had made a big mistake in booking the room, but it was a nice room other than a little small and we will remember and laugh about the room for a long time. It actually was very comfortable bed with a beautiful (but small) rain shower in the bathroom.

It was confusing to check in. We went to the address and it told us to go across the street to another hotel to check in. The girl at the front desk didn't speak great English (but I know a bit of German) so we made it work. The rooms and bathroom are extremely small with just enough space to walk around the bed. The only really negative thing is the parking as it is quite far away.

The location is very good, with a lake view between the buildings. A charming building decorated in a historic style. We paid for a very good breakfast which was served at a nearby hotel. They found us a really close parking space.

Wasn't clear that the reception desk was in a different hotel, not a problem but would have been nice to know. This hotel is just rooms with reception and breakfast outsourced to neighbouring buildings.

The hotel is well located, confortable, great breakfast at a neighboring hotel, great for a day or two.

Central location with great facilities albeit in different close locations. Very easy booking in with reception and restaurant staff that spoke English very well which made life easy for us non German visitors.

Most documents were in German without an easy English option. Google translate is excellent to make translations.

Quaint decor which fitted the aura of the town’s history. Amazing venue for breakfast, taking in the magnificent lake-side views. The Reception staff were overwhelmingly considerate, kind and conscientious.

The room was nicely decorated and the bathroom was modern and clean. The location was exceptional. We had 3 separate rooms and all met or exceeded our expectations.

The locks were a bit difficult.

Right in the center of Meersberg & we had a view of the lake. The breakfast was FANTASTIC. We drove there and the hotel gave us a carpark which was handy and 10min walk to the hotel (you have to pay for the carpark). The carpark is also opposite the car ferry to Constance. Friendly staff and would recommend it. Love the medieval feel.

It is a PERFECT location! It is close to everything in this beautiful city. although rooms were small it was nice to have a shared private entry with our kids room next door. we really liked the large window for ventilation.

Rooms are a bit small ( but that was expected) and balcony was under construction.
