We were delighted to be given the room that we had hoped for which was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The reception staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The situation is perfect: immediately by the lake and close to the ferry points which we enjoy but very quiet in the evenings and at night. Thank you all very much.

We had a wonderful stay! The location couldn’t be more perfect – everything was within walking distance, yet the area was peaceful and quiet at night. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and great tips for local spots. The interior of the hotel is modern, simple, and very clean – exactly what we were looking for. We felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommended – we were very happy and would definitely come back!

Lake-view room had a sensational uninterrupted view of the lake! Scandi-chic style room with very comfortable bed and great sleep quality. Parking costs extra and is a 5 min walk away but you are given a space and pass so you can come and go as you please.

Breakfast was very underwhelming and not at all worth paying extra for. Room was missing tea/coffee making facilities

Excellent location, fantastic breakfast. Friendly kind and attentive staff. Room was lovely and well equipped. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and bars. Transport links all very close too. Beautiful views from our lakeside room. Quiet location.

Pillows were thin- but hotel supplied more when asked so not really a big problem. We found most hotels on our trip had poor pillows!

An absolutely fantastic location, just at the edge of the shopping street, directly on the promenade, with its own restaurant overlooking the lake. For the price, the hotel is incredible value. The rooms are very large for 1 person, extremely clean, well-furnished and have a large bathroom. Bikes can be stored in the inner courtyard which is quite safe (but exposed to the elements). The staff at check-in were wonderfully friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent as well. An incredible hotel for the price.

It was very, very hot and even with the window open, the room stayed very warm. There just isn't much airflow in the room (but this is true of most single hotel rooms). Otherwise, really nothing not to like.

The hotel was located close to the major attractions and main street with shopping/restaurants, very central.

Most of the time there was a nice breeze off of the lake to cool the room with the windows open, but the hotel doesn't have air conditioning-at least not that we found-and in the morning there was street noise.

Flair Hotel zum Schiff was a perfect choice for our stay in Meersberg on the Bodensee! Marta, Concierge and receptionist was great! She gave us clear and precise information about the many venues we wanted to visit, making everything very easy for us. The breakfast was awesome, especially the brotchens! The location, right on the waterfront, was exactly right. We had a wonderful view of the Bodensee, and easy walks to the ferry, the upper town, and the many restaurants. Lots of walking, much of it uphill, but great nonetheless. Highly recommend!

The room was great, clean and comfortable. Beautiful view from the balcony. The food in the Restaurant was tasty and the breakfast was great. But the best thing about the hotel was the staff. Every single one of them was friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome.

Incredible view out over the lake. Nice and central. Breakfast was nice, staff were very pleasant. Lovely room!

There was an unpleasant smell all the way up to the rooms (but not in the rooms). Smelled a bit like a backed-up drain. Maybe air fresheners could be a good idea. I can't get used to there not being kettles with teabags in the hotel rooms in Germany as all I wanted was a hot drink. Typical UK/NZ problem that probably doesn't bother anyone else!

Staff all friendly and helpful, also spoke English. Self serve breakfast. Good choice good quality. Room looked over the Lake. Hotel was spotlessly clean. Setting was beautiful. From reviews we wondered how the parking would go but very straightforward. Turn into the pedestrian zone / access only and park in front of the hotel and check in / bags to room, given a card, then park in enclosed car park, seemed very safe.

The only suggestion would be a kettle in the room.
