Since a few years I always stay at this large hotel when I am in Belém. The hotel is in a very good location opposite the Praça da República. The rooms are large and spacious with a small balcony.  Our room was well equipped according to the description at booking: Large bathroom including a bathtub, a bidet, a good high pressure shower with hot water and white towels of high quality. Very comfortable bed with white high quality bedding.  Good lightning. Everything is very clean at this hotel. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The generous breakfast buffet offers delicious hot and cold meals, fruits, juices, cakes... Additionally eggs and tapiocas are prepared on request. The hotel's restaurant is also very good and reasonably priced.

During this stay WiFi didn't work reliably in the room.

I had a great stay at Hotel Princesa Louçã in Belém! The rooms were clean and spacious, the staff was very friendly, and the service was excellent. The hotel is also conveniently located near the city center, making it easy to explore the main attractions. The breakfast was amazing—delicious and with plenty of variety. The only thing to note is that the bathroom could use some updates, as it’s a bit old, but it didn’t affect the overall comfort of my stay. A great choice for anyone visiting Belém

Always felt safe the instant we arrived on the hotel forecourt. Pool area was spacious and clean. Lots of choice at breakfast. Nice park area opposite in the daytime. Rooms cleaned promptly throughout the day.

Furniture a little dated and dark. Not a criticism of the hotel itself but strongly recommend uber after dark for even short journeys. Uber is unbelievably cheap in Belém!

The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. The location was a nice one.

The hotel is kind of old. The bathroom was mouldy and the taps didn't open properly. It was kind of wet , too wet, in the bedroom and bathroom. Some of the staff were not so polite. The food in the restaurant could be better. We ordered some sanduíches and the fries were raw. And the crab soup made me sick.

I arrived at the hotel at 5AM. The desk man said I could have my room and I wouldn’t be charged for an extra night. Then later on they told me I would be. And I had made a mistake to begin with because I thought the amount was for two nights. But it was actually for one. So I ended up paying for three nights in a much more expensive hotel than I can normally afford.

The infrastructure in the hotel bedroom and bathroom requires updating but this is balanced by the cost of accomodation which is very reasonable and great value for money. If the hotel was updated it would charge a lot more so we were very happy with everything.

This hotel is centrally located opposite the Praça da Republica. Our room was large and spacious - according to description - and well equipped. Good soundproofing inside and outside. Large bathroom with good shower and high quality towels. Comfortable bed with good quality bedding. Good lighting. Everything very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast! Strong WiFi throughout the hotel. I will return to this hotel when I am back to Belém next week.

Breakfast had a good amount of options and it was delicious. Even though the location surrounding the hotel didn't feel all too safe, as long as I was on the front porch of the hotel, I felt completely safe because of the security personnel standing in front. The room was also quite spacious for just 2 people, so I liked that too.

There was a not so nice smell in the hallway of our floor.

Internet connectivity at night bit poor. Restaurant staff was also Friendly and helpful but unfortunately didn't speak and understand English. Only one Tv channel. Gym equipment only for leg training

Breakfast was good. Room was satisfactory. Location was good.

Unfriendly reception staff - when we checked in it was breakfast-time. We requested going for breakfast as we would miss it the next morning having to leave very early. No ways!! Could leave our baggage until 12:00, and the following receptionist was most helpful.
