The Hotel is in a stunning location, it is quite isolated so those who like to wander around town would be disappointed. The Hotel is 200m from a breathtaking viewpoint and the views all round are fantastic. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a bar and a dining room. From other reviews we weren’t sure if the restaurant would be open but so we ate elsewhere beforehand. We could have eaten at the hotel. It would be worth asking by email. The ambience of the Hotel is great, it’s not fancy just well done down to earth comfort. Breakfast was generous ham, cheese, toast, buns, yoghurt, ad lib orange juice etc

This is a nice little country hotel in the national park a hundred miles from Santander. We stayed for two nights in April and it was very quiet (and cooked outside-it snowed) with very few people about. The room was basic but clean, warm and comfortable with lovely views of the beautiful mountains and countryside. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Food offerings were a bit limited, the evening menu was just a few items, pizza, pork cheeks and something else I can't remember. You'll have to drive for half an hour to the nearest town to find a restaurant with more offerings.

It was well worth the slight detour to come here. The surrounding area is spectacular as are the views from the hotel. The staff were all really friendly. We informed them that we were vegetarian and it wasn’t a problem. They gave us several options for dinner (including vegan cheese, if we’d wanted it) - everything was delicious. We were amazed to find out that the nice bottle of red wine we had with our dinner was included. Would highly recommend.

The location is beautiful, surrounded by mountains. It is close to Pico Espiguete for those who plan to climb it. The hosts are nice and accommodating. The breakfast is small but tasty, with nicely toasted bread.

The rooms vary. On the first night the only room left was one of the rooms downstairs which does not feature in any photos. It felt rather cold and damp there and the bath was very small. The hosts were very nice, however, and moved us to a nicer room upstairs on our second night. The internet signal could have been better in both rooms. Despite all this, the hosts did their best to make us feel welcome. We will return if we are in the area again.

The comfy beds, remote location, mountain/lake views and the cows that greeted us outside our hotel in the morning, clanging their bells. So adorable. A substantial breakfast of toast, fruit, yoghurt, cake and juice, tea/coffee. Great view point a short walk from the hotel carpark.

Despite the fact that it was very warm when we were there and there’s no air-conditioning, we were perfectly cool in our room and the host and hostess were fantastic. The meals were exceptional great value for money and an absolutely beautiful location.

Everything except below. It is a stunning little Hotel. Greta view and the staff could not have been nicer As clean as anywhere I’ve stayed. It was excellent .

The Bed was really uncomfortable and the room wasn’t warm enough

Clean, comfortable, great food and bar. Staff very helpful and patient with my lack of Spanish. Awesome location with amazing views and motorcycle roads. Sorry to only stay one night.
