We have booked this hotel for our overnight stay before heading back to Santander Port. What a unique place, what an atmosphere! Owned by the family, a truly extraordinary building with its own church in a beautiful location. Super friendly and helpful staff, great food, comfortable rooms and charming hotel dog Rex. Windy roads leading to the hotel are amazing (we travelled on motorcycles). Next time we would like to stay there for more than 1 night so we could explore this beautiful location. Definitely adding this hotel to my favourites list! :)

Nothing, everything was great.

Lovely. Owners really nice. Comfortable. Arrived when Spain was without electric. Owners were using generator and we would have had light in the bedroom but it came back on. Got a hot meal, pork presumably done on gas grill with salad, delicious

The location was excellent, quiet peaceful BUT very difficult to find

The staff were lovely people. Kind and friendly, which we greatly appreciated considering the demonstrations in Barcelona and elsewhere at the moment. We stayed one night to break our trip to our holiday destination. We ate very well in the restaurant and were charmed by the patience and humour of the girl who served us. What a lovely, peaceful out of the way, stopover.

Very warm welcome and very obliging/accommodating. The accommodation was nice and warm (it was cold outside). Friendly staff. Very enjoyable meal.

The only thing I didn't like were the white LED overhead lights in the bar area as they give me eye strain. I would change them to warm glow!

The property was quite isolated, but was a short drive from a small village. Beautiful situation in countryside. Friendly reception & good restaurant with good menu. Rooms spotless. Quirky but welcoming.

As far as we were concerned no issues, loved it.

The building is old and beautiful. We enjoyed an excellent dinner in the restaurant. The location is remote, but spectacular. This is truly a lovely place to stay.

A most peaceful place. All the guests were soon chatting together (all were British, as it happened) and the hosts were charming. The food was really excellent. Looking forward to coming back...

Beautiful location and building full of charm and character. Family run business who take great pride. Friendly and helpful staff who create a great ambiance. Great menu and first class food although limited for Vegetarian.

Very attentive staff, good food in the restaurant and location. Perfect stopover on the road from Catalonia to Asturias and a good place to stop for those on their way to the ferry at Santander.

Beautiful rural setting in a 500 year old (renovated) building with a lovely attached chapel. The hosts are friendly and amazing and we loved everything about our stay.
