Linde Hotel & Restaurant was perfectly located for my first visit to the area from which some of my ancestors emigrated to Canada starting in the 1850s. The very interesting Deutsches Harmonika Museum and Auberlehaus Museum, which are only a short walk away, despite normally being closed on a Monday both graciously granted my request for a visit. The Linde Restaurant's Spaghetti Carbonara and Tiramisu were quite good. I did not stay for the breakfast the following morning.

Following my train connections from Strasbourg, with an overnight stop in Offenburg, during warm humid weather, (and no air conditioning!) that aspect of my travel did not improve at the Linde Hotel. I would have appreciated it had the room included an electric fan.

In general a good experience. Nice location, great hosts and good restaurant. Unfortunately the rooms are not soundproof and there is a lot going on within the hotel premises. It seems that the owners live there too and they are pretty active. I asked if they could lower the volume of their TV and without complaining, they did. I’m very grateful for that.

People around here (especially the boss) are fantastic, polite and helpful. This was a great stay and in the situation I was a part I propably wouldnt find better place. Many thanks!

Perfect to stay for the night when you’re on the road. We chose the room with a shower in the room and I must say it was pretty convenient! Also the staff is super friendly, totally recommended

Good value for the price. Simple but clean room, central location.

The staircase and corridors leading to the room were rather outworn and not so clean. There were problems with the wi-fi and the staff was not too keen on helping about it.

Comfortable accommodation in the city centre. The restaurant serves real Italian pizza and fresh draught beer.
