We stayed at this lovely hotel for one night and had a truly wonderful experience. Everything was smooth and well organized. The reception team was exceptionally kind and welcoming, they even offered us an early check-in and 3 free room upgrades, which was such a nice surprise. The room honestly felt like a 5-star stay, clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. At checkout, they kindly offered to keep our luggage until our departure, which was really helpful. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail made a big impression on us. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely consider staying here again the next time we visit Castelldefels!

Nothing at all. Everything was perfect!

The rooms were spacious and well equipped. They were clean and had everything you'd need, from free tea and coffee (kettle and Nespresso machine) to pool towels and bathroom equipment (toothbrushes, razors, etc). The staff couldn't do enough to help and were always pleasant. The breakfasts were amazing and had plenty of choice, from pastries and cereals and fruit to eggs and bacon. I spent a lot of time by the pool, under the parasols, and there were plenty of sun loungers even when it was busy. The hotel was spotless; the cleaning staff were always around, mopping floors and ensuring the communal areas were clean.

Not much to dislike. The only slight downside was that the cleaners doing our room often didn't empty the bin so I had to leave it in a very prominent position to ensure they did it. Also, they didn't refill the teabags when they'd run out. One small suggestion: we had a wonderful, large twin room but the hanging space for clothes was tiny which meant I lived out of my suitcase for a week as there wasn't enough space for two people in the closet. So, more room for clothes would be great.

Allowed dogs. Parking. Reception staff excellent. Clean & tidy.

The door to the bathroom stuck half way open on the raised floor (possibly due to water having been under the flooring at some point) - I kept banging my ribs on the door handle. The sink was very slow to drain. The curtain was hanging off the last couple of curtain hooks but not addressed. No sun on the balcony till late afternoon. No privacy on the low balcony due to sun beds & guests placed right up against it - noisy & intrusive.

Modern appearance. The receptionists are reaally helpful with everything, especially around getting bus tickets for Barcelona. Automatic curtains and the AC do a great job.

Sometimes, especially in the breakfast room, stuff is too busy to understand your need for attention. After checkout, I left a charger and an expensive cream in the room. Of course nobody knows what happened to them. Maybe they want the pay the cleaners more. There were some nasty black spots in the corners of the bathroom which should be looked at by an expert. Some other parts of the room start to disintegrate.

We recently stayed at Hotel Playafels, which is perfectly located next to the beach. Our room was a highlight, featuring two balconies, one of which offered a beautiful view of the beach and the swimming pool. The hotel's location is excellent, providing easy access to the beach and restaurants. Additionally, the staff were very helpful and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, Hotel Playafels provided a wonderful beachside experience with great service and a prime location.We have recommended the hotel to family and friends, and we will definitely come to Hotel Playafels again.

We felt the hotel's restaurant menu was limited.

Everything about the hotel was to a high standard, the room with a beach view was clean, comfortable and the view of the beach was lovely. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was a good selection of cold meat and cheeses, hot bacon eggs and tortillas, fruit and pastries, which was all very tasty. Location was brilliant, lots of restaurants near by serving quality food and not too commercialised. I would definitely recommend this hotel and area to anyone looking and I'll definitely be returning.

Room was a decent size. Big balcony, although too hot to sit there for too long. Nice capsule coffee machine. Iron & board in the room. Decent wardrobe space, nice bathroom. Massive bed. Nice AC. Mini-bar. Complementary water though.

Shower leaked lots of water, even with the door completely shut. No shaver socket in the bathroom. Breakfast was OK: not much variety of hot food.

The hotel was well maintained, almost appeared as if it was freshly built. The facilities were quite modern and clean. Our room was very comfortable with a view of the mountains.Something that stood out was their attention to nice fragrances throughout,including the room.

The hotel had great access to the beach and there were a few restaurants around but perhaps these options were over all a bit limited and this related to activity as well.On the bright side Barcelona city centre was quite accessible by train- walk to the station was about 25 minutes.

Beautiful view from restaurant, modern room, nice breakfast, (small)clean room, nice parfum smell everywhere, nice shampoo, hand/ bodywash. Nice located. lots of restaurant nearby. busline near

the pool area was not good. the umbrella looked in bad shape, one couldn,t open(broke). there was creme for sunburning...this was empty. poolarea floor was not cleaned good.( 2 days same crashed sweet from child). Seems they where not ready already fur the sun? There where children, that was stranger because was adults only? There was a mess at the breakfast. Only 1 employer and the coffee machine broke all the time. No time to clean the tables...that was not very recommending for a 4star accomadation

A full service great facilities hotel. I liked that it’s location was within walking distance to both the train to Barcelona and / or the bus to Barcelona. each cost 2.40€ each one way vs a taxi for 35-40€ Hugo at the desk was most helpful, but all the staff were very efficient and friendly. We stayed here because it was close to Barcelona but also because it had a beautiful sand beach and a great pool deck. Trips into or from Barcelona took 45 minutes once we mastered the system. it was a big bright room, Nescafé system, big screen tv, fantastic shower and lighting system in the room with motion sensors. first class!

sadly Breakfast was not included in our stay but it would have been nice. There are lots of other dining options in this area though so we weren’t put off by it.
